god v. devil
    #11773789 -

so god is like smiting people here, drowning people there, makin other people kill people, etc.

Seems like God has killed more people than the devil? So who is really the devil?

I imagine God claims He has a good excuse whereas the Devil just doesn't give a fuck.

so? if I have a kid and I kill it is okay because I created it?

http://dwindlinginunbelief.blogspot.com/2006/08/who-has-killed-more-satan-or-god.html this guy counted and God killed an estimated 33,000,000 vs. Satan who killed an estimated 10.

Thats a pretty big difference. And also it is noted that God took part in the 10 that satan killed because it was part of a bet.

so really, i don't see how God can be all loving and what-not if hes the one doing all the killing

Couldn't God be allowing the devil to destroy while also not planning to let that go on indefinitely? God is not helplessly onlooking.

God could also be the one behind the destruction. Judgment and wrath is as much a part of God as love and mercy. He doesn't owe wicked men a thing.

god created the devil, so god creates evil and makes it.
he tells us not to murder in the 10 commandments.
he also states he is a jealous god.

GOD IS A SINNER:omgz:

he breaks his own rules he sets, that means he is a hypocrite.

Hehe, no. G*d doesnt break g*d's' rule(s). G*d allows diversion from g*d's' rule and that is what destroys. So who u blame, the one who allows the diversion, or the one who actually does it.

Not the way I see it. The devil is the part of us that says, "I will stand on my own feet and make my own decisions about life right or wrong. I will not be a slave to my father's will. He's old school, living in fear and I must move into the future".:satansmoking:

Yah, why not. God is allowing diversion from g*d's' own rule(s) that is what allows destruction. Does this mean g*d actually does that destruction ?

Take the parent -> child analogy (even if parents are not correct most of the time with their rules)
There comes some time where you have to choose not to be responsible for what your children do anymore. If you are a parent, u give them freedom to do what they want, even if you are the more 'responsible' how the world has formed around them (as law). You only can give them hints at this time, but at some age, they are responsible for what they do themselves.
The same g*d's' law(s) work(s), imho. And that's how g*d tries to make 'good' for all. Including freedom of choice. Man just can't get along with the consequences

What you're saying doesn't make any sense, it's not gods children or whatever doing the killing it's god himself.

Sorry, for us humans I think it's everyone's own choice to kill or not.
Others than those might not have a choice.
