I didn't vote, and here's my answer to your question...

Science can only study the observable.  This means the physical world, including things like radio waves which aren't observable by our senses.  We still have instruments to detect them.  Science can only study what lies within the material universe.

Religion and God and Spirituality belong to the realm of Metaphysics, or that which lies outside the observable physical universe.

Therefore, remaining within the self-defined parameters of the words science and metaphysics, they are incompatible.  But, just because we defined them as such doesn't make it so.  Our whole presupposition could be wrong.

I really can't say for sure.  I mean, it's hard to see how they could, but science has advanced so rapidly in the past century that there's nothing I'd rule out.

I would also say that it's more likely to do so if it expands from narrow science to broad science.  Narrow science, which is the current paradigm, only studies exteriors.  Broad science would also apply the scientific method to interior experiences, which mystics have done for centuries.  An integral science would be able to combine the two to find meaningful correlations, and control for various factors.

I wonder why you would ask mystics this and not scientists?  Doesn't matter I suppose, if you had more straightforward choices you would likely get the same answer.

My answer is that we already have figured out God and the afterlife, we just haven't realized that's what it is yet.

We haven't let the discoveries of quantum physics sink into our everyday experience.

Bob the alien claimed that the beings from his world were able to scientifically prove the existence of an afterlife, and it had something to do with the many worlds theory.
