Great pictures, thanks for sharing that's a very nice, healthy looking patch.  I've only ever tried active dung loving shrooms, after what you've said, I need to try some of these at some point.
Peace and happy successful hunting.:mushroom2:

lol

umm, so you fellas do realize i posted these pictures like 2 and a half years ago, right? those were my first finds of 2005, nice healthy ones too if i do remember correctly. and then some hippy kid with a flute walking through the park noticed me photographing them, proceeded to ask me about them, in which i honestly replied that they were in fact cyans and he could come back and help himself in a few days when they'd be grown up...and humbly asked him "just DONT pick them now while they're babies, thanks".

of course i came back the next day and the whole patch was pwned.

Never trust hippies with flutes.

Next time someone asks me that I am going to tell them I am photographing deadly Galerinas.

This January I was photographing cyans in golden gate park and right across the street there is an old homeless guy that lives on the bench, never seen him not there. After a while I thought he must either be blind or getting wise by now, but there was a lot of tall grass and other species around. I had just found a nice red staining edible Agaricus when this other homeless guy came up to me and asked what I was doing. I am pretty sure his friend on the park bench sent him over, telling him that I was picking magic mushrooms. His breath smelled strongly like liquer and I told him I was picking edible mushrooms. He asked if he could see them so I handed him the big old Agaricus. Dude kept trying to look in my bag, which was full of Agaricus. He asked if it was poisonous, I said no and he took off running with it. He didn't even give me a chance to tell him to make sure to cook it, good chance he got the shits.

Some great advice here. I will never trust a hippie with a flute. Wait I am a hippie and have my own flute....lol
