TennStud is one shady vendor!

They used to be my favorite vendor on the website. I would always place orders through them when I needed to catch up on hpoo for my garden.

About a month ago I placed an order for some hpoo. I was never contacted after the order. Once the order didnt ship out, and I hadnt heard anything for a week, I asked for an update or approximate ship date. I was sent an email that provided no information, just that they would get things out as soon as possible.

Then, this weekend, I sent an email trying to cancel my order. Its rediculus that it had taken over a month to fill, and that no contact had been made. I would happily order again in the future, but my needs were met due to tennstudds inablity to fill thier orders in a timely manner ( I understand the problem you all have, but dont take orders if you cant fill them...simple )

I get no response, so I go and file a paypal claim. Oddly, after the claim is files asking for a refund, I get an email that my order is shipping out! BS...I have sent them emails and paypal notes not to send out anything. Instead of trying to resolve things with me, they decided to try and screw me over. I DONT WANT YOUR PRODUCT. I have escalated to a paypal claim, and I will not be accepting any package sent to me by TennStudd. I have all emails and documentation reguarding the sale, and if paypal doesnt reverse the transaction I will be taking it to small claims court.

Sorry TennStudd, you have lost a long term customer due to your poor customer service and "screw you over in the end" mentality. There are pleanty of other vendors out there. It just shows your customer appreciation when you arent even willing to work with a customer when YOU cant fullfill thier order in a timely manner.

Ive yet to get any responce reguarding the late shipment, reguarding my questions about a refund, or reguarding my paypal claim. This is not how a business should operate.

Like I said, I will get my money back. Sadly this could have all been resolved by keeping up contact with your customers.

Imagaine you were a vendor dealing exlusivly with HPOO
taking massive amounts of orders
and doing most of the work ALONE.

Its BUISINESS.

Its not possible to have 100% satisfaction with every customer all the time, things like this happen sometimes.

Try to understand that he has LOTS of orders to fill, and sometimes things go wrong.

Mike has a good reputation around here for a reason, He sells the BEST product for a reasonable rate

You said it. It's BUSINESS. And this is pretty lousy BUSINESS practice. If Mike was serious about running a business well, he should consider hiring additional help. (Especially if there is such a high demand for product.) There is no excuse ever to go a month without any communication to the customer.

Thanks OP for the information about your experience with this vendor. It has helped me decide where I want to spend my money and I am sure it has helped others as well.

its pretty easy not to take orders if you don't have stock. the dude's been backlogged for a while now and i'm sure he's taking new orders every day.

Yeah. The product is great but I've had problems with service as well. If they would just post an accurate wait time, it would be greatly appreciated. My last order took 2 months to receive and none of my private messages or emails were received. I'm not trying to badmouth anyone, but they could do things a bit better.

I have supported Mike from day 1.
However, it is obvious that accepting payment for something.
You don't have on hand to ship, within a day or 3.
Can certainly lead to problems.
That, combined with little or no communication.
Magnifies the potential for more problems.

Which, seem to be compounding, more & more.

30/45/60 day wait, is .......... bullshit, not h/poo.

I recently inquired about ordering 100lb and I'm glad they haven't got back to me about what the price would be picked up with the shroomery discount, because I can't wait months.

He can save a lot of trouble for both sides by just giving accurate time estimates...

His statement can't be considered slander if its true.
If a vendor isn't replying to your emails and you feel you're getting a raw deal then the Vendors Forum is exactly where you should post your grevance.

I was getting ready to order some hpoo myself but maybe Ill wait till TennStud gets a little caught up.

Im also having problems with tennstud. An order I received 6 weeks after paying for it smelled very ammonia like and in the end was not leeched/pasteurized correctly. Still waiting for a reply on this issue also. Sad sad day.

To all those who are saying its a business and you cant make all your customers happy...I challenge that you have never owned a business, nor operated one. No, you will not make everyone happy, but you do take the time to work things out with the unhappy customers.

Its not like I am the only one having a problem. If that where the case I wouldnt have posted about it here. I am not about ruinging thier business, but I am about protecting my fellow forum members from getting into something they dont want to deal with. To attack me for posting about my situation is just ignorance, so to those who have done so...congradulations on being a dumbass.

We will see how this works out. Does the business take care of the unhappy customers and try to fix things for the future, or do they let thier name get tarnished more, have to deal with more unnecessary BS, and lose more customers? Its a business, and in the end its the customers that keep you in business. Pissing them off one by one isnt a good idea. Like I said, before this I was a long time customer, I have delt with the delays before. What pissed me off wasnt so much the delay but how it was handled.

i ran my own business for 23 years. if i had taken over a week to get back to a customer things would start looken ugly.

hello have not been around inawhile but heres my 2 cents

he sould habe shit ready sitting there ready to mail out the net day have his on-line store check the Lbs out as they sell so he dosen't over sell. and once he has more ready add more to his invantory/on-line store.
