15 Miners Killed in Explosion

An explosion at a coal mine in southern China killed 15 miners and injured three, China's official news agency said Monday. The explosion occurred Sunday at the Zhongxing Colliery in the Guizhou province, the Xinhua News Agency said. China's mines are said to be the most dangerous in the world, with more than 6,000 miners killed last year by fires, explosions, floods and cave-ins.
