yeah well then take what mitch said as a warning. even without such trauma/large problems people use drugs as crutches... So for any type of stress or problems big and small that you may come across in the future and so on... make sure you don't use drugs of any kind to deal with them, ya know? Ok... and as for the shrooms I say try em since you say you're alright.

Shrooms are fantastic. I like them most because you can't really do them if you aren't a good person! If you're serious about using them in a strictly religious light, you could always order some from the SMCS and grow some for yourself after if you like the effects.

i think its more like, people with guilt cant do them

sorry for buttin' in this thread, but i have a lot going in my life too, never done any street drugs (not even weed once), no drinking, no smoking, one woman since hi sqool for 17.5 years, was well on my way to a fitter happier life as perfectly described by radiohead (see lyrics below), so now i'm here because my wife dumped me and rather than killing myself, i'd rather look into this shit. any wisdom, i'd really appreciate it...

fitter, happier, more productive, comfortable, not drinking too much
regular exercise at the gym, 3 days a week
getting on better with your associate employee contemporaries at ease
eating well, no more microwave dinners and saturated fats
a patient better driver, a safer car, baby smiling in back seat
sleeping well, no bad dreams, no paranoia
careful to all animals, never washing spiders down the plughole
keep in contact with old friends, enjoy a drink now and then
will frequently check credit at moral bank, hole in wall
favors for favors, fond but not in love
charity standing orders on sundays ring road supermarket
no killing moths or putting boiling water on the ants
car wash, also on sundays, no longer afraid of the dark or midday shadows
nothing so ridiculously teenage and desperate nothing so childish
at a better pace, slower and more calculated, no chance of escape
now self-employed, concerned, but powerless
an empowered and informed member of society, pragmatism not idealism
will not cry in public, less chance of illness, tires that grip in the wet
shot of baby strapped in back seat, a good memory still cries at a good film
still kisses with saliva, no longer empty and frantic like a cat tied to a stick
that's driven into frozen winter shit, the ability to laugh at weakness
calm fitter, healthier and more productive, a pig in a cage on antibiotics.

thanks, i might go looking, Im really worried about picking the wrong kind tho it seems a much safter option to grow them and although im excited im in no huge rush to get them right away.

Grav - You ask why i want to do drugs? I dont want to do any drugs, like i said i want to move away from the opiates they make me feel good for a short time and serve a purpose in removing my excessive and severe pain but i dont like to use them recreationally anymore.
Why do i want to experience shrooms? Shrooms seems it's like an adventure, an intense exciting mind opening experience. Im a very intense person and i love new things are experiences. I feel that mushrooms may open a whole new aspect to my life that not only will i enjoy and find fun but i will learn more about myself. I may be wrong but then again if i try them ill know that. Also after assessing the risks of shrooms it seeems relativly low risk and danger in trying one of the other hallocenogens like LSD or DXM (i think).

ANyways thanks for all the good advise, does anyone fancie helping me thru the process of growing?

Yeh i know that, but there are alot more risks and dangers associated with LSD.  I mean for a start simply it's aquirment can be quite dangerous, where as i know shrooms ive grown will be shrooms and nothing else.  Hence less risk

what i meant was this is not the place to talk about rape in general. Talking about who gets raped more has nothing to do with helping fantasain

Shrooms defiantly can be a mind opening experience. Just a couple weeks ago my friend had his first trip. He said it was amazing, and one of the greatest experiences of his life. It helped him find out that he is agnostic. I think everyone should experience shrooms and least once in their life. Just makes sure you do a lot of research so you know exactly what you are doing.

I dont know what sort of 'mind opening ' experience you seek , but I am not sure if Amanita Muscaria is illegal in UK, anyone chime in ? these are realtivly common, but not at all the same from what I have heard ( never done the 'magic mushrooms' Fly Agaric ( Amanita Muscaria ) is a completely different fungi , with a entirely different group of psychoactive elements, and it is a deleriant , not a psychadelic ) In anycase, I really would not sugest fly agaric but then I dont know what exactly you are looking for ... As long as you arent say ... me right now ... you can typicaly find fly agaric no problem, but it isent something most people would consider pleasent, and as with things such as atropa belladonna , I dont see ' much ' potential for abuse after the fact, it isent pleasent enough for most to consider a second time, but each person is different , I found fly agaric to be a powerful tool for working with one's self, provided you dont mind vommiting your guts out about three hours later , and in my opinon, is a great deal less dangerous then Atropa Belladonna, which I could never with good concience even remotely sugest to someone ... Deleriants provided me with a catylst to work on some festering issues from my childhood, very similar to what you stated happened ... but as you said you have come to grips with them, I dont know if the experience would be something you would have any interest in , on another note, Opiates are a demon once you become addicted, I experienced that also, and I would not wish that on any living creature, period , for any reason , withdrawls after building up a great deal of dependancy is something that makes suicide seem very rational, I am speaking of the actual pod of the papaver somniferum , morphine and codine and the rest of the alkaloids found there in . Best avoided unless the pain is untollorable -Tranceharper

yeh i know the bad side of opiates,

I was going to try Fly Agaric ( Amanita Muscaria ) but everyone ive talked to says not to go near it and that it just makes u il and sick and there is no pleasure or mindopening...

Pleasure is relative, to what one defines as pleasure , but in most cases no I dont think most would enjoy it , I have heard of its use as a euphoriant , though it would need to be in lower amounts, and yes it will make you sick , now as far as 'mindopening' Deleriants are something that do not ' open the door' to your mind, as I know them , they just tear the walls down entirely ... Some in a more agressive fashion then others , I found Fly Agaric to be a great deal less ' agressive' then Toloache ( Datura Inoxia ) both are deleriants, they function differently though , Datura, and things such as Atropa Belladonna, Hysocyamus Niger, Mandragora ect , are poisons in a very real sense of the word, though so is Fly Agaric, the odds of someone having a fatal overdose from fly agaric are not terribly high, with tropane nightshades, it is a very serious risk . And on another note , What is said about things such as Datura, Atropa, Hysocyamus ect, that they are female in essence, if you are inclined to a spirituality that percieves things in such a manner, yes the tropane nightshades do seem to have a female essence , fly agaric seems ' to me ' however to be a male essence. In anycase , you must decide what you are willing to suffer through for the ' mind opening' you seek . I assume you are seeking a 'pleasureable ' mind opening experience, in which case I dont think deleriants would be the thing for you. They are ' also in my opinon' more likely to leave someone with permenant effects , For good or ill , or either depending on perception, as I have no experience with the common 'magic mushrooms' I cannot putforth advice there about such. -Tranceharper

thanks for the information and advise, i think ill try the common "magic mushrooms" first and then if they dont achieve the effect i desire ill try to deleriants as a second thing.
