Just curious as to the people who are posting on this thread...For those of you that quit, tell me you arent the types walking around telling everyone else drugs are terrible? Those people make me upset.....

Since I moved away from my hometown (right about the time i registered here) my drug use has seriously declined. I feel good about it. My mentality towards drugs, users, and the WOD has not changed on bit. Everyone deserves the freedom to do as they wish to their own bodies regardless of how unhealthy, physically or mentally, it may be. For the millionth time, Moderation = K3y.

Fuck that, get stoned, trip out, take all the drugs you can get your hands on.
And then wake up, and realize what you have done. that's the cycle, and no matter how much the government or any other body tries to push prevention, it's not gonna do a damn bit of good. Some people figure it out on their own, some people end up in rehab and fix their problem, and some people die.
And that's the way it is.

I'd rather learn to use my favourite drugs in moderation for a good part of my life, rather than binge like there's no tomorrow, have the fun/pleasure of it severly diminish and then end up quitting because of that. Addiction to anything is no fun, even the addictions that aren't to drugs. Losing the ability to control your desires/cravings is not a very nice place to be, especially when you end up destroying everything around you.

Mr Mushrooms and Rustik both have very good points!
I dunno who I agree with more... kinda funny how I agree with both even they are a little contradicting.
All I know is I woke up one day and realized.

After a super long binge of beng fucked up i relized that i enjoyed sobriety jsut as much as i did being fucked up. Each has thier own uses, and sometimes you just take it for granted. It feels really good being able to get high on life ;]
