Awwwwwwwww that was a nice read icelander. Some do find both like I have but there have been people in my past that did not fit the outter image of the Hollywood golden boy that I appeal too and yet just really fell in love with them anyway because of their character traits, even if the package wasn't my usual brand. And you speak a truth that, they can be become very physically attractive when you allow the love to make itself known. I guess thats where the love is blind phrase came from.

Love just sees beauty in everything!  :inlove: :inlove:

Thanks for the emotional honesty. I alsways feel like I'm creeping out on a thin limb when I reveal emotional info about myself. Typologically, I am strong intellectually, but feeling is my 'inferior function.' The Lady that I've been with for nine years really took the initiative and asked me out originally. She knew that I wasn't going to ask her out (she was not what I was looking for physically speaking, and actually, I was not what she was looking for physically either - she is Nigerian-Jamaican and I am Eastern European-American). She happens to be beautiful, but she also happens to be an INTP (like myself, according to the MBTI, which is rare), intellectually and emotionally similar to me, with similar values and perceptions of the world. She also has an Ivy League education (I don't) and can handle two BIG gel-tabs like a trooper! What more can I say?...Oh yeah, she actually leaves choice of home decor to me! I can't imagine not being in relationship with her. We're the Sun and Moon, Osirus and Isis, peanut butter and jelly

Markos, you are one lucky man! I am more comfortable with being emotionally honest in my "old" age. When I am posting on my emotional/personal side on these forums, often there are few replys. But why care? This is who I am and how I feel. :mushroom2:

I suppose that in MY "old age" I am willing to make a fool of myself in the attempt to communicate truthfully. I appreciate my good fortune, but I see it as Providence rather than luck. In order to perfect the Great Work in my life, a partner - a Sorer Mystica [Mystical Sister] is needed and GOD knows what I need. GOD knows that 'you can't always get what you want...but if you try sometimes...you just might find...that you get what you need.' This has usually proven to be quite true. What do you think?

I think you can in no way make a "fool out of yourself" if you are speaking your total truth, which comes from your heart and mind. That foolish feeling comes from the ego that needs everyones approval, don't you think. At least that's true in my case. :mushroom2: And yes! "if you try sometime, you might find...

Yes, it's the ego's pain, but one acts from one's whole being, not mere ego.

Maybe that's why we often feel conflicted when acting. :mushroom2:

Nice observation!

The actor is the only one in conflict with the director and the script. The "observer /script /writer /director" is never in conflict with itself as it even knows itself as the actor. The actor self is the one experiencing the conflict. Just more experiential observatory opinion to add to yours.

And the eventual breakdown of the conflicted self. " A house divided against it self cannot stand".
