true love

say you find that one person and feel that they are your "true love"

this is the love of your life akin to the idea of a soulmate.

later one both people feel that they rushed things a little and need some seperation time and eventually split up.

I have heard many people say that then it wasn't true love.

I disagree. if love was felt during the time of togetherness, then it wasn't false. love is always true love.

Annnnnnd I had a light saber and my friend was there and I said "you look like an indian" and he said "you look like satan" and he found a stick and a rock and he named the rock ooga booga and he named the stick Stick and we both thought that was pretty funny. We got eaten alive by mosquitos but didn't notice til the next day. I stepped on some glass while wading in the swamp and cut my foot open, didn't bother me til the next day either....yeah it was a good time, ended the night by buying some liquor for minors and drinking nips and going to he diner and eating chicken fingers, and then I went home and went to bed.

love is such a weird fucked up thing. it has so many different aspects and qualities, and there are so many variations of love its hard to tell when it is true. if it is meant to be then it is meant to be.

It's a matter of degrees, love. Was it or wasn't it true love? Well it's not a yes or no question. Maybe they thought it was higher up on the love scale than it actually was. But it wasn't false, it was just exaggerated, again a matter not of yes/no but of degrees. "Fake" love is just a way of labelling the exaggerated part that wasn't ever there, while the love originally there is true love. All love is true love, but assumptions of love behind which none lies aren't love in the first place, so calling it "fake love" is misleading. Ultimately the question is, how much (true) love? The answer in my mind lies in subjective experience...
