I wouldn't support invading Iran, but not because I approve of the way they treat their women - I think that shit is disgusting.

But, should we really be invading another country, killing their people and sacrificing our own, and spending billions of dollars we don't have, without an urgent national security imperitive?

I think Hussain was a real shitbag, but look how well the war in Iraq is going -- there may eventually be an improvement for the Iraqi people, but more Arabs than ever are pissed at us and America has paid a heavy price in lives and dollars.

No, it gets close to the boarder line, but i dont think it justifies invading a country...even though when you think about how many people could have their lives back, it almost seems worth it. What really needs to happen is for more pressure to come from other countries in the world to treat your citizens right, whether it be a democratic, socialist, or dictorship society. That pressure is just non-existant right now...and that really was a main goal of the U.N.
