I'm going to attempt to put a casing layer on this to see if that's what its calling for since the growth is so rapid and the surface myc is very, very thick.

But im wondering if anyone here has seen this before or knows what it is?

You can see in the 2nd Pic that the bad growth has overtaken the entire surface. Don't try to save this plate.

You can see how in the 2nd Pic how it's growing bumpy. That's usually a sign of bacteria.

The timelines you described seem way to fast compared to what I've experienced. That's usually a sign of mold.

Just get more picky with your plates and you'll get fruit. That's the hardest and most time consuming part.

It's also a good idea to do a Cabin Sequester or Trench once you're confident you don't have any mold in your sample.

My guess is that your plates have both mold and bacteria.

Pans can be picky bitches. They need bougie treatment

They did colonize extremal fast, i was able to get those dates and times from the meta data on the photos, otherwise i wouldnt have known times.

And @Baba,,,, sooooooo I'm sinning here have been using some premade/poured PDA plates off amazon X) so i have no clue what the Nutrient % is. BUT I've just purchased the stuff to try Milkboy's PDA and will do the math to make these no more than 0.5%
