I confess.

I ripped a big ol' chunky doo doo fart in the baking aisle at the store earlier. Right when I got a whiff of my produce, an old lady on a mobility scooter came rolling into the aisle toward me. That poor ol' broad was eye level to ground zero. I beat feet around to the next aisle. I could hear her groaning and swearing at me from next aisle over. Bro, I was red-faced trying to hold back a belly busting cackle, but I didn't want to give my position away in case she wanted revenge! Holy shit, that made my night! :laugh2:

Looks like it doesn't matter what console you choose these days guys. Xbox is transitioning to an all digital catalog as well. Because 90% of their sells are digital.

The Big difference so far.

While both platforms are reducing physical disc production, Xbox has introduced a disc-to-digital program that lets players convert supported physical discs into digital licenses for play across PC, cloud, and future discless hardware.

That disnt sound like a breath of "fresh" air.  Unless  fresh is being used to describe.  like a nice  fresh "stanky rank one"..

This sucks puff.  got my fingers crossed for you. My cats used to be indoor and outdoor but they would go outside as they please and wander off in our neighborhood they would go on the golf courses and run around and have a blast.

I used to have a camera/GPS  on their collar just so I see what type of Adventure they would have every night.

And was it surprising to see that they were going out on the golf course and traveling 5 or 10 miles away before always making their way back home.

These guys know where their food is at for sure. So as long as nothing like a coyote or some sort of predator or car gets in the way I think the chances are pretty good.

Now I have no clue how much that to indoor cats who may have never been outside.

But my all cats started off indoor and one day they just decided they liked going and hanging out in my front yard.

It's funny too because during the day they always just stay around the front yard and come inside when they're thirsty and hungry. And when it was night time they would have their fun exploring and hunting the neighborhood and golf courses.  (Srry genni)

These days.. I don't own cats.

I confess I'm developing a hot sauce fetish:

This has serranos, habaneros, onion and garlic in it, 3.5% salt.  This bad boys gonna ferment for a couple of months then get blended with blueberries, acv and brown sugar.  I made one similar where everything got fermented and used different peppers:

It's good but needs garlic and more heat.

Ahh, a fellow follower of the Path of Heat!  Fuckin' love makin' hot sauce, even if I gotta rein it in lest I get charged with engaging in chemical warfare against my wife, lol.  I started doin' it because the "TO-DULLY GUN-DA BURND YER ANUS AWFF" hot sauce I can get 'round me is maybe a hair hotter than your typical bottle of Tabasco.  Might be super hot if you're a weak-ass cracker, but mama didn't raise no weak, limp-dick bitch.

Currently gradually workin' my way towards making the hottest sauce I've ever crafted w/ the help of some home-grown Pepper X.  Only thing holdin' me back is that they take for-EVER to hit maturity--though, they're getting a nice, chocolatey colour to 'em, so it shouldn't be TOO much longer!

If I'm not shitting blood, IT AIN'T FUCKIN' HOT ENOUGH.

I confess that I fucked up... but I already have the solution too.

In the second-to-last batch of cakes, a small wet spot popped up. In the latest one — almost in every single glass. And also in one (for now) BRF Puck.

Since I used different spores, mycelium straight to the puck, and made agar plates (which are spotless) — I knew the devil was somewhere else.

I found it — lately I got into the bad habit of leaving half-ground rice in the old grinder and then tossing it into the next batch. Yep, I feel like an idiot.

Take a look at the inside of the grinder...

Steaming definitely can't handle that.
I'm still wondering — how the fuck did they not get contaminated sooner?!

And here's the new solution:

Not as precise, but next time I'll be able to grind up my mushrooms instead. :evil2:

Hugs

Thank you to everyone for your kind words and support.

Well, we have a possible sighting only a couple blocks from my place.

My son's GF went out and printed a bunch of flyers and went and got a bunch of neighbor's permission to put them on their fences.

Those were seen by a little girl, who called my wife and gave a pretty accurate description.

The cat wasn't there when she checked, but the little girl has since gathered all her friends to try to get a picture to confirm it's my cat. They all know to keep their distance and only try to get a picture.

I'll be home in a bit, and we're taking some of her litter there along with our dogs (which the cat loves) so they can mark their scents too.

Wish us luck!

My current relevant confession: I stepped back from myco (no time and no energy) and I have a buuuunch of grain that's been colonized for four months or longer... probably well longer. I'm nervous to check on it lol

Hi All! :hi:

Beef told me to come say hi in the confession. I'm new to the Forum and to the Cult and so far its been one of the most welcoming communities I've been introduced to so far!

Confession, I was really expecting some sort of isolation when reaching out here sine I'm brand new to the forum and the hobby in general.

Confession #2,,,,,,, I used Chat GPT for a lot of directions when starting out and (it brings me shame to say that i relied on it so heavily). I started 2 months ago, today I have my first 3 pins after following my intuition and a lot of reading from everyone's posts and teks here!!!

Hey Puff, if it’s worth anything, my neighbor lost her cat last year and, after a week of a bunch of us looking for her every evening, hired a team of pet recovery blood hounds to find her. They tracked her to a shed in the neighborhood, and my neighbor was able to get her to come out.

Could be worth looking into something like that in your area.
