Well I finally decided to block that dave asshole.  I can’t spend all my time correcting his constant misinformation, but it was fun getting him to break character.  Sea lions might be listed on the marine mammal protection act, but I take my shots all the same.

That was one of the first things that stood out to me when I used to shoot. A few hundred rounds each of 7.62 and .556 in a backpack was heavy.

So, I actually did some cult work today. Went to grain with CB, yeti, and Gandalf. Have a few  B+ jars looking pretty good so far and should be ready to spawn soon. Feels kinda good, we’re gettin’ the band back together!

I feel like I’m approaching a stage in cultivation where I have plenty of home grown medicine and am now kinda just working on getting better at the details. I’m getting more interested in learning about reading plates and having a better understanding of what I’m looking at. God help me if I buy a microscope!

Kloakk pointed out that this is my one year “shroomiversary.” It kind of took me by surprise but it got me thinking. At first, I just wanted the end product. My life was cracking and I had found something that helped me mend it. I couldn’t just go to a doctor or a store to get this medicine, so I had to figure out how to grow it. I sifted through so much garbage information until I found this little corner of cyberspace. Lurked for well over a year and just absorbed so much from a long list of TC’s and long-time members. I read countless posts of noobs fumbling through their first grows and watched as they really evolved into some seriously knowledgeable folks. That’s why I made an account and decided to engage, ask questions, and interact with a lot of people not all that different than myself. 

Seldom have I said a simple message board has altered my life, but I can honestly say the shroomery has changed me. I feel I’m a better person for having found you all. And I couldn’t be more grateful to you all for accepting me and helping me along in my journey. And just like a family, we fight. And sometimes Dave shows up and has to try to be the smartest guy at the thanksgiving table, and other times some people are told to get the fuck out of our house. Sometimes one of us is going through some seriously tough shit in our lives; but this group, often misunderstood by most normies, is the only place that can dampen the hurt. Living in the shadows can be a lonely place sometimes and we all understand that.

I know I’m just an aging punker, playing on the back nine of my life, and I suck at golf. I’m bruised, battered, and wounded from all life has mustered, much like many of you. But I believe we have earned our scars and we should always remember how we got them. That is how we build our strengths, both together and individually. I don’t know shit about much, but I’ve figured a few things out in my time on this big beautiful ball we call home. And one of the things I’ve come to know for certain is that you all pretty much kick ass!

Here’s to a few more years of honing this craft, learning stuff I never thought I’d learn, and sharing stories with you. Thanks for having me. Cheers, misfits! :leocheers:

I really like it here too, it charges me up or something.
When I first joined up I took everything quite seriously, as to like establish some sort of character for myself. But when I settled down a bit I have felt a cool privilege of communin with a lot of fuckin fresh, dank people, learning beyond mushcult and just feeling steady relationships form. It adds a confidence through my daily life that has been fostered by peope here.

last week I took lsd in a cave with my friend, so fucking cool as well.
He was beshroomed so when he crashed I was still at around 3000mph, so I took my mat and bag out into the cave like and stayed up watching the bats and watching the ceiling shifting to downtempo on the speakers and the abstract dawn chorus, dabbing up.
At one point the rain came on and I'm cosy in the cave with the cooooool air rollin in (its a heatwave here), and the acid is-by then- on its final legs, mac demarco came on the speakers. Damn.

Another thing I’ll never understand is how most of you smoke so much pot. I used to smoke cigarettes but I still start coughing if I catch so much as a whiff of a vape. I can only imagine that dab stuff being akin to smoking car exhaust! Good on ya, guys. I’m jealous!
