Sub-subject: NOTM Announcement: Welcome arlo.arlo to the ranks!

Hey everyone, it's that time again. I have the pleasure of naming our newest Noob of the Moment, and this time around, the nod goes to

arlo.arlo

Welcome no. 62 to the esteemed ranks of NOTM! Let's have a look at the stats:

Code:

We haven't actually had any direct interaction on the forum yet, but I've looked over your contributions and gotten to know you vicariously through your posts—and they're damn good posts. I caught one of your threads a while back and made a mental note; that's usually how these nominations start. The sheer dedication you're bringing to your projects is obvious to anyone paying attention.

"Noob" is a cliché, but we own it. The difference is what we do with it. Most forums throw the label around to brush newcomers off; we've built an actual tradition around recognizing them. NOTM is how the veterans here formally put someone on the record as worth reading and worth watching. They've been in your threads. You made the cut. Consider this your formal ingress—every initiant earns their place the same way, by putting in the work until the right people notice. You did that.

Think of this as a tip of the hat: a genuine mark of respect for the earnestness and attitude you bring, and for everything you've already put into this community. Glad to have you aboard.

Enjoy the spotlight for the next few weeks, man. Keep doing exactly what you're doing—you're already making a splash, and we hope you continue to grow and post. I hope to get to know you and develop a rapport/dynamic with you, and I very much look forward to keeping up with your projects and posts. You generate good content and positive vibes. We hope you conitnue to become a regular voice on these boards.

Welcome to the fold, arlo.arlo! Can't wait to see your next update.

:hatsoff:

Yes, great choice, cool guy
Congrats Arlo!

Edit: Dala, I've always half-consciously associated arlo.arlo with the super lame series 'Allo allo' that my parents used to watch. If you know, you know. Can't see his avatar without thinking "Ooh, my ticky ticqeur"

Also I tooted churp for being a lowbrow puppet, it's so obvious.
I also added them both to my nazi watchlist in my journal, so we can watch them
