Avi Lewis new leader of the New Democrat Party in Canada

hes running on some leftist policies, like creating a public phone and internet provider, public construction companies to build the homes we need - non-market homes, public groceries,  funding our healthcare, regulating AI, spending less on weapons and military, not following trump into wars and destruction, creating tens of thousands of unionized jobs in the above services, and adding eyes, teeth and mental health to socialized healthcare

I like most of that stuff.  Not sure it's super realistic; to implement all that OR to get in office right now...  Liberals are actually doing a reasonable job and people are not likely to risk creating a wedge, but, sounds like a decent guy to have officially arguing for those progressive policies.
