Might just have to take you up on your offer, been seeing some pretty photos of your pots. Nice work man.

The idea here is to try to find a good temp to sit at for most things in running and just leave it. Even better if I make it slower in the process.

Not definitively, got a print from Pheno a whiiiiilllleee ago, he thinks they are most likely Texolo.

As I can see my myc cover my agar plates I'm planning for the next stage.
I have a 23qt presto pressure cooker, a dreamer tub set up, a sous vide instant pot, plenty of jars and containers and tubs.
What is the best practice and the easiest for a beginner growing zaps moving forward.
I don't mind the idea of a cake, I have loads of grains aswell - just no cananry seed.

Grains I have
- wheat
- popcorn
- Milo
- millet

Haven't done cakes so hopefully someone else can help you there, but as for grains, use the smallest you have, zapo's take they're sweet ass time colonizing anything, but grains for me is the slowest, I use canary seeds and Mico's substrate recipe(almost), so far so good. Substrate colonization was pretty fast, but probably because of all the inoculating points, so yeah go for the smallest grain you have :rockon:

Thanks! Helpful as always - I might start with half quart jars because they take so long and I think that might reduce contamination potential.

Why not, if you do a couple of extra half qt jars you could select the best ones after they have colonized and do g2g to qt jars, that would speed up things for sure.

Come to think of it, this was the yucca flower sub I made a while back, not sure if it had anything to do with it, if it was straight genetics or the wonders of the dreamer tub.
I’ll play around with the clones and sub amendments down the line for sure.

Yucca flower eh? What was your thoughts with that? Just curious. I could go for some yucca fries, there was a spot I went to some years ago that had some fucking banging yucca fries and for the life of me I can’t remember it, every time I think I remember I go to the joint and realize it’s not it…
