Best course of action for the finish of my first grow? I’ve learned the error of my ways with the AiO bags, but I’m wondering if this is good to harvest, or if it’s even salvageable. Thanks, much appreciated!

HRRRRMM.  I Suppose Id go ahead and grab the goods and dry them and eat them.  Meanwhile, I suppose Id probably rescue the thing as per the tek.  Can't hurt to try at this point! If its got a good moisture content left and theres still nutrition yet, It may do something surprising!

Today's tubs, I had an epiphany and I realized that to trigger fruit I need to provide enough light. So three days ago I added in the light that came with the kit. It's seriously bright. How's it looking?

Yeah. I actually use a bacon press now; the tile float had sharp square edges that were a pain in the ass to use in my rounded tubs and shoeboxes, kept scraping the sides and corners would end up with air gaps. Plus I think, without any real evidence, that the the mycelium likes these little bumps and the dimples they leave in the surface of my substrate:

So it has been about 12 days since I posted the original conditions and this is where we are at. It's starting to look dry but I have been keeping the humidity around 80 and temp at 75 but still nothing really happening. Everything seams clean no odor or color I'm not sure what I should do to help, any suggestions? Possibly dunk?

Well, it happened. Marty the Mega Producing Block has died, and joined his partner Jennifer in rest in the back yard. Bafflingly, he produced one last singular fruit before all the other pins turned black and died and some contam finally appeared. Whether it was a thumbs up or a middle finger, I’ll never know, but the fruit was dried and added to the others in honor. Sad to leave you guys, as I’m definitely not doing any more of these AIO blocks, but I’ve got some jars brewing and some plates, including a crazy looking one with Marty’s spores on it. Gonna have to get some advice on that one in the appropriate thread. I can only hope that my AIO experience documented here provides some help to the next victims.

Anyway, thanks to Beef for the tek, and good luck to the rest of the All-In-Oners Anonymous crew. Hopefully your rescues go better than mine did! So long, and thanks for all the fish. See ya in the rest of the forums!

You know I thought that was the way and accordingly I'd emptied one of the tubs, washed it out and put it in production for a new use. Like all great ADHD people, of course, I put the other tub to the side and forgot about it until this morning. Look what I found this morning!!

So I just wanted to follow up on my post from a couple weeks ago and thank you guys again. after Dunking for 24 hours and punishing the cakes I stuck them both in a mono and waited patiently and then almost over night there was action.

I feel like this has helped me dial in on what surface conditions should be like and the importance of keeping it in the sweet spot. Time to enjoy the fruits of my labor

First time doing this, inoculated a sterile substrate tub with spores (injected) and here’s where I’m at. Any help or advice welcome, I’ve noticed some primordia before full colonisation. I currently store it in the cardboard box it came in to keep it in mostly dark conditions (box lid is open to allow FAE) and the tub has HEPA strips on the lid. The substrate is  Organic Wheat Grain, Coffee, Coir, Lime, Gypsum. My room temp fluctuates between 18-24c as I have a heater I switch on for several hours when I’m at home. The last bits of substrate are yet to colonise but I have a lot of condensation and concerned about contamination. Is this salvageable?
