My bad I was real new to this website I didn’t realize I should’ve made my own thread and shit lol but anyways I appreciate the help I got about 3 ounces of dry apes and still a little more to come! I had some grow bags that failed that I used this tek on as well and they had some decent flush’s. Happy I actually found the valuable information and helpful people on here.:stoned:

Well I'm bumping this thread because I've gotten several messages this last week regarding some seriously fucked up grow kits. Poor people.

So ya know what? I'm thinkin maybe i should make rescue tek vid.  Me and Duc could order a kit and deliberately fuck it up and then see if we can pull some fruit before it trichs out.

Whatyall think of that? Can someone recommend a kit to me? (FOR MICROSCOPY PURPOSES ONLY)

btw, I sent a couple people here in dm's.  Lets try our best to help them get some fruit. This one member said this is like the 4th kit they've lost to trich.  Really pisses me off.

Hey everyone! Long time lurker, first time poster...
First of all thank you ALL for the work that you've put into writing up these guides...

I'm worried about my tub. I bought a monotub setup and then fucked up pouring over reddit comments and old "outdated" posts from shroomery instead of just jumping into what threads were currently active. Whoops...

I've got this tub of tidal waves in cvg that has me totally baffled, I'm hoping someone would be willing to take a look and shoot me a pointer or two.

Out of the gate I  was afraid to take the lid off
I realized not only was my surface way too wet(puddles of metabolites and water) but 4 fruits had actually fully developed on the side of the tub
The veils were already broken by the time I saw them. Whoops again. I removed the surface puddles of water, introduced more Fae, and harvested the 4 fruits that I did have. In total I s2b this tub just under 4 weeks ago, pulled those fruits a week ago. I have no other discernible pins but what appears to me to be overlay.

Can I salvage this guy? I really want to learn this hobby.

I had half a mind to just leave the bag and see what happened, but I'm so glad I listened to Beef's wisdom and advice.

I simply cut away the bag, leaving about a 1.5in rim around the bottom of the cake, and plopped the whole thing in a tub with water a little less than an inch deep. The little dudes have been absolutely thriving out of the bag!

I posted this in a different thread and someone suggested I post it here.

This is my first ever grow. I chose penis envy which I started 8/4. Things seemed to have been going well, I just started my fruiting stage and cut the top of the bag about a week ago. I'm concerned with how well these mushrooms can actually grow in a bag like this. All of my starting pinheads are on the sides of the bag. I have this large lump that started to turn blue from what I think is mycelium bruising. The blue coloring has spread slowly over the course of several days. I've started misting the bag and reduced the size opening to allow for more humidity retention which seems to help with fruiting. Any help / advice would be appreciated! I just ordered a monotub for my future cultivating.

Well I would do exactly what justaspore did friend.  You really don't need to buy a tub either.  They sell them at target or Home Depot.  I really like 20 quart.  Melt some holes in it and you are off to the races

I cut the bag and switched to a tub. The fruiting process seemed to be going faster but now some of the tops are going black?

I have the cake sitting in a plastic water dish with about an inch of water. I didnt remove the entire bag I left the about 1.5 inches of plastic at the bottom. There is condensation on the walls of the tub
