Which is the same old reminder that you can pick your fruits whenever you feel like it. First time I grew successfully and dipped into my own harvest, I tripped FACE on a couple grams of pins.

People tend to wait at least until around when the veils break to give the fruits more time to put on weight. But there's no law against yanking those immature fruits. And eating them fresh straight-away just because you can. Ok, ok, actually, there is a law against it in most places, but it's the same law that applies to mature fruits.

😂 You're so funny! Well that is something else I didn't know so thank you! I thought they had to be full grown before the veil broke before you should harvest. I keep running into very old information on cultivating them.

I'm getting so nervous now! I've never ever tried these or anything similar in nature 🤪 I'm hoping to get some medicinal benefits.

If you want a big ol’ print that can last a long time, I’d let one open up most of the way but before it starts to really flatten out and launch those spores. Personally, since they grow on their own time and not mine, I had one or two really big guys that fully matured overnight while I was sleeping that I probably should have picked before bed, so that’s what I used for my print. You don’t even have to let one grow specifically if there’s a chance you’re gonna miss one overnight anyway. If it’s not dropping spores when you go to make the print, you can always drop a single drop of water on the center of the cap to “encourage” it with some light waterboarding.

Also, I know genetics can play a factor, but yours look IDENTICAL to the ones I just grew, with the fuzzy feet and little spots on the caps and all. Mine were Z-strain, I don’t know what yours are, but I’m still not sure if I got the fuzzies and spots from low airflow or if it was a genetic thing. Just thought I’d mention it.

Thank you! I had all tied up ready to go into the trash and then you saved them by sending me the link to Beef's wire up! ☺️

I just harvested them all. Now I'm going to go weigh them, take a spore print, and get them into the dehydrator. I have a quick question for you or anyone who knows, how do I rehydrate the brick? Should I spray it with clean water or do I just leave it alone? It has little baby pins coming up on it and some look skinny and the coco coir is a dry. Thanks!

Personally I had good results hitting it with the dish sprayer, submerging it in water for a few hours, then giving it a new set of thin layer coir clothes at field capacity. But I'm at less than 15% humidity here and even then I'm guessing all that's not really necessary.

Ok, should I not worry about the current pins? The coco coir is definitely dry so I need to rehydrate it either way. I have cc ready so I can soak the brick and redress. I was just worried about what's coming in now.

Ok! That's what I'll do here in a few.

I have another stupid question related but not related to this that I'm hoping someone can answer.. I've never tried them before, should I have noticed any feeling after 1 gram? I'm afraid I dried them too long 🙄 My dehydrator goes up to 158° and I fell asleep. They were in in for about 7-8 hours I'm afraid they lost their potency. I've read so many opinions on dehydrating and it was late so I knew most likely I wouldn't find help here at midnight. What do you think? Did I mess them up or have I just not consumed enough? I ground it up dropped some lemon juice in it starting at 1/4 tsp up to a full tsp and I felt as I normally do. I want to start micro dosing but wanted to at least feel what it feels like (not a full trip today) I'm getting ready for a garage sale so I need to be functional. I know my question(s) belong in a different topic but I'm hoping you'll forgive me this one time.☺️

7-8 hours probably isn't long enough. I do 24 hours at 165 and there's no issues. 1 gram is borderline microdose with most cubes, so it's not surprising if you don't feel anything much.
