Ok, ok, I understand this whole "torch the trich and get a little more mileage out of a jacked-up tub" business. But what about taking a colonized plate and torching the surface? I bet a lot of the crap that hitch-hikes on our cultures and ends up infecting them is concentrated there, both because it's exposed and because there's fresh air and condensation present. Plus, you never know, you could end up with Uber-myc that's been tempered in the fire.

If you poured thick... In like a pyrex petri... But how do you flame it without generating air currents that will carry new contamination? Zap it with induction in front of the flowhood? That'd be hit or miss in terms of heating the entire volume at once. Would a torch interfere with laminar flow enough to render it useless?

I mean this was a serious trich patch.  talkin golf ball sized.  This is by far the most controversial thing i've ever done but you can't break whats broken. 
For the moment, it looks like i have successfully beaten the beast into submission.

Haha, I love to live on the edge, it’s in the garage so away from anything, fuck it… I figured I’d try to see what happens.  The funny thing is that the bucket produced a lot of Turkey Tails but I knew this was a lost cause now.  I am curious to see what happens.  My trich vector was from HWFP, pasteurization did not help the situation, since I figured that out, I’ve been sterilizing the pellets for Enoki grow.  So far it’s been good.  I’m just praying with this trich, lol

I’m doing a legit as fuck science experiment tonight!!!

The last few days I’ve been wearing a heart monitor from my cardiologist. Trying to figure out some dizzy spells I’ve experienced  over the last few months that have been concerning.  Anyway, It’s a 5 day test where they basically record my heart rate, blood pressure, oxygen levels etc. At the end of the 5 days I get a complete report of the readings over that period.

Tonight I’m going to take a mid level dose for science so I can compare how my levels were before and during the trip. Just to keep it free of variables I have been totally sober and caffeine free for the last week. I’ll let y’all in on my findings when I get the results back next week.
