Maybe tell her each having individual hobbies help keep a couple going. And this hobby costs less than many.

I can definitely empathize with that... I mentioned my wife is really starting to question how much money I'm spending on this hobby not too long ago myself. It's hard not to go in too deep, this shit is infectious. You always want to try the next variety, see the next rad morphology.

But the debate about the hobby have mostly ended since my crippling depression of 40 years disappeared literally over night after a particularly powerful trip. Now she's like "i get it." My wife even enjoys tripping as well maybe twice or three times a month, she just didn't understand why I needed to trip so often, or spend so much to grow this much quantity.

Seemed excessive to her at first I suppose... i do go over the top whenever I decide to get serious about learning something.

Luckily she's very understanding about the many weird hobbies I have. She just dislikes the "mess" I make filling the house with petris, jars, shoeboxes and tubs :naughty:

Those jars are wheat, I'm following Stipe's wheat prep to the T. Before my 50lb bag arrived I experimented with hulled oats (disaster) and hulled millet (decent shoeboxes). The hulled millet I spawned colonized the shoeboxes really fast but the wheat is faster at colonizing the jars so I think I will stick with the wheat (I need to use those 50 lbs lol).

Just  today I threw some x7x+ T2 from your giveaway to some jars, they looked nice in plates so I hope I didn't mess my SAB technique. Hope to have some x7x+ to show in the next weeks.

Oooh! Great idea! Too late to get that started. Instead I’ve been working on gift baskets of vacuum sealed bags of different varieties along with ginger tea bags and those plastic lemon juice containers in the shape of lemons.
