Do you consider yourself culturally compatible? Why are you showing other people gory medical procedures? I don’t think reactions to seeing blood and guts is a valuable method to judge the worthiness of abortions, or removing a tumor, or repairing intestines destroyed by a bullet.

Of those of our elected officials waving the anti-abortionist slash pro-lifer banner around in public, how many have either themselves or in terms of their family - had abortions?

Those who haven't likely wouldn't stick to their public positions on the matter; if, say: that their daughters, wives, other female relatives, coworkers, and or friends found themselves with an unfavorable or altogether unwanted pregnancy.  I don't know the exact numbers, but, every now and again such a thing makes headlines.  With that said, I would think that there's a number more where those came from. 

I personally don't even have an actual opinion on the matter, imagine that?

So, the fact that abortion is even touted as a central issue in politics seems to me like it speaks volumes about how absurdly misguided the focus of the nation is.  So, why would such a medical procedure, one that's strictly for women, be a central issue for you, and, why is it one for politicians, too?

Might could say that there's even a connection between the two. /end.sarc.

There is some Cuck Norris figure or fat, violent dyke, who wants to violently seize the images on the poster board, and destroy them with violence. But, they don't usually consider the procedure a matter of life and death, so much as being for her convenience. 

None of the fundies who are demonstrating at the abortion clinics are seriously thinking about prosecuting or lynching the babykillers, who they are accusing of murder.

I don't feel that speech leads to action; talk is cheap. The pacifists are violent, and the patriarchy is passive.

I think, there is a mental disconnect:
-- when someone wants to harm another person over a medical convenience which they are trivializing, such as an everyday errand.
-- when noone wants to see an accused murderer brought to justice.

That is how both sides are dealing with the issue of abortion dysfunctionally.
