Hey bud go with the spore syringe.  The pf Tek is perfectly suited for multispore spore syringes.  syringes aren't all clean pf Tek is useful for controlling contamination and not needing a PC.  Plus the syringes are easier to store for long periods without worrying about nutrients being used up.

Not sure what you mean by grain bag.  If you bought a grain bag presterilized I'd put the lc in it.  Use the syringe for your pf Tek jars also can use the lc in separate jars.  No reason to mix a lc with a spore solution just giving a better chance to contaminate imo.

Also the cakes in the pics you'd just crumble those up and put in SB unless you wanted to go both ways.😘

That is what I was getting at, the LC in the grain bag AND the jars and the spores in only the jars and I would never mix them together. I think I'll try a grain bag with a little just for giggles, who knows, it may work and if it doesn't, not much lost.

If it’s properly sterilized and sealed it should be good for the foreseeable future

Just use a small squirt of that syringe, you only need a couple drops and then wait a few days for the white stuff and beware the milky white stuff...

Shake up the syringe for like a little while so the spores even out in the syringe...

Not sure what tub size you have but I've been watching people using just coir or cvg with a 1:2 ratio and even higher. I've seen people using a compacted psuedo casing, very smooth and even...

No one really knows. No idea how long ago it was made, how well it was made, etc. Too many little variables out of your control.

Since you're still waiting for the spores and haven't made the classic first timer mistake of shooting a ton of spores into a pre-made grain bag yet, you can adjust your plan for better chance at success. I would suggest reading the pf-tek link in my signature below, get your supplies & SAB ready, then make a fresh batch of those yourself when the spores arrive. Materials are relatively cheap, doesn't need a pc, and they will take straight spores much better than grains will.

You can still shoot up the bag you bought since you already got it. It really only takes a drop of solution to inoculate any spawn and the less you use the lower the chance of adding some contams from the syringe into that spawn. You're still rolling the dice but can better your odds a little bit with this approach and not gamble too much of your available spores on it.

The fridge will slow down growth considerably, but if possible take some transfers as well and put into fridge.  Once a plate gets grown out to the edge then starts to thicken it can hide contams.  So yes it will slow it down from what I've seen 2 wks in the fridge is about same as one day at room temp kinda what I've noticed
