Thanks! and I only dropped the first one (904 but the number is cut out of the picture).
That is why the transfer is on the side and the satellite is in the center. :facepalm:

Lmao! Sorry been at work. It was the swab stick. I stuck it in the last plate after swiping others. I think all of the spores stayed on the swab because this is my only plate with any growth. 7 days.

Hey just wanted to run this by you all, just looking for some confirmation. Does this look like myc to you all? I used an inoculation loop and a B+ print back on 8/10. I had some cobweb contams on my ovoid plates now I'm questioning this one:

I would first ask where you looped.  From what I see, that growth is nowhere near your loop tracks. 

Most of my close to the edge growths like that were all bad.  Give it a couple of days and it will turn yellow or green.

I wondered about that, you can see where I dipped the loop into the Agar and it didn't start from any of those spots. I quarantined it just in case. This is my first agar attempt and I slacked on the location and setup of my SAB. It's fixed now but I'm expecting to see contams. If this turns out to be contam'd it'll make 5 out of 19 plates I had get cobweb.

From my experience, the plates that you stab end up germinating faster than the rest due to the higher spore concentration.. check back on your other plates in a few days and you'll probably have growth.

Sorry for the double post. I was checking for replies and it was deleted for some unknown http error....who knows.

My first attempt with Natalensis. I have never worked with anything but cubes and atl7 so I am not familiar with the differences in myc appearance between that and cubes. It has a light yellowish-orangeish-brownish tint similar to atl7. What do you think of this plate guys? It looks puffier and fuzzier than it actually is due to a phone camera. I sure hope its good so I can do some more transfers and get it to grain.



Thank you to the generous member who shared some spores with me. They germinated very cleanly and I was able to get this off the plate before the contams from to the horribly dirty air in this place. Any and all opinions/suggestions are welcomed and much appreciated.
