The ice CUBE tray is fruiting, but unevenly.
Albinos are mostly matured (and tiny),
Ksss is pinning,
PExCambo hasn't even started to knot up.

Do you intend on kneading it to ditribute the mycelium or are you doing it for the sake of it? Would be a great idea to speed up the colonization.

It was really fascinating observe this - water drops playing with light, mycelium network, fruits and pins in curious places (there was one even at the bottom!)

That is one of the most awesome looking grows I've seen.  Very inspired.  It's a shame the art is temporary.  At least the pics are permanent!

Well... that was lame. I should have used more coir in the mix. The sub dried out and the result was a but disappointing.

Getting ready to try loofas too. Stuffing them with popcorn, or oats. Rolling some of them in CVG, others sawdust mushroom mix. Everything from cakes to logs, would love to grow some lions mane, or turkey tail this way.. Would you do it again?

Reusing the tomato container because I thought it looked cool and has a pretty awesome peal back panel in the top for easy misting/air flow if needed.

It has 4 small holes in the top that were already there to let the tomatoes breathe. I just left em open.

1 to 1 with a little top layer of cv.


I'll post some updates in a few days.

Yeah, I totally would. I didn't roll them, just cased them since I fruited them right out of the jar but yeah same concept.

My set up is very minimal, I do Bottle TEK with 2L pop bottle domes in a fairly low humidity home. The loofas seemed to do better for humidity than the regular coir based Muda Bottles.

Once colonized, the water really get trapped in all those little spaces in the loofa.
