Unfortunately, the problem with the press is the problem with the American People. The press reports what the people will consume and we are a tabloid-loving, celebrity-obsessed, fluff-news seeking society. If we demanded more from the press and stopped watching shit like the fucking Kardashians, there would be no market for such bullshit.

That and we're all too cheap to buy a newspaper; we want all that news for free. So what do we get? Bloggers who spout bullshit but it's free and it aligns with my beliefs so I'm in, fuck the MSM. Who cares that they are educated journos who know that stories have to be backed up with facts. 

You get what you pay for and this is the shit we're getting because we deserve it.

Wait so I don’t think I really understand what you’re trying to say. FISA warrants are issued only for specific individuals, are they not? The NSA was tracking people that weren’t even suspected of any crimes. If he’d gone through the “proper channels” there’s a good chance he would’ve been suicided by the powers that be and nothing would end up changing

It was deemed unlawful by one court and lawful by another.  The Supremes haven't ruled on it and are unlikely to do so now that the law has already been changed.

Treason is a crime. A good intention doesn't justify the harm done.

Was it deemed lawful before it went to an appeals court? Because an appeals court deemed it unlawful

This shit is so stupid. If the law is open to interpretation then you can spin any issue the way you want and label anyone you disagree with as a criminal. Judges can say they’re “constitutionalists” but that doesn’t mean they’re not gonna put their own spin on how they think the law should be interpreted. Get rid of the gray zones or gtfo

It wasn't ruled unconstitutional.  This is why Snowden should have reported through proper channels instead of releasing thousands of pages of classified documents. As I said before, it's possible to be a hero and a criminal. One doesn't justify the other.
