The covid pain will generally count against Trump but the final numbers may be closer than you think. What I am saying is that even a month ago Trump had no viable game plan and now he has it.

The very essence of his message is that you don't negotiate with rioters - you restore order and then deal with the issues. In my view many voters will see public offers of federal help to deal with the civil unrest as a measured and reasonable approach. Ignoring the problem would be weak, sending in the guards autoctratic so I think Trump is occupying the middle ground here and will be seen as such but time will tell.

Btw - I do not rate Trump as a crisis time leader but his persuasion game is strong and I believe he got this absolutely right. I also rate Pelosi so surprising she does not see that the Dems are occupying a losing position. The other Dem's PR star AOC is more a problem than a solution in the current setup so not sure how the Dems can turn the ship around.

Looking good that democrats take back the senate. Biden wins. Get rid of the filibuster. Add two more seats to the Supreme Court and make conservatives completely irrelevant. 🤣

His polling peaked right after the RNC at +4% last time and he finished at -2% exactly what he got in the election. He got no bump this time. Biden is holding on to a double digit lead. All these parents are going to be extremely frustrated that their kids are being sent home due to covid outbreaks. Trump is a loser.

Trump is down five points in who do you trust more on civil unrest. In Wisconsin. People aren’t stupid. They know it’s Trumps America that is turning to shit. Trump can’t keep blaming democrats for not fixing the problem when he appears to be totally impotent

Absolutely - I stated multiple times that his handling of the covid sucked. My current prediction, which you disagree with, is that Trump's polling will improve as a result of his stance on law & order

I am in a minority on the shroomery, as I frequently defend the opposing side when they have a point about something or when my side make believes something about them.  I also attack my side if I think they're wrong.  People here get very confused by that and think it means I prefer the other side.
