Any one of the examples you mentioned (as well as mine about recruiting Blacks ahead of others to avoid the media pile-ups) if proven to the evidentiary level should be enough to make offenders legally liable - I will have a joint tonight in this intention (have some wicked White Russian).

Come to think about it "looking threatening" should not be an offence unless followed by some action affecting the person involved. While mental processes matter on a personal level I am against prosecuting thought crimes.

I didn't say anything about crimes.  Throwing a resume away isn't a crime, either.  These little "mental processes" add up to a system that makes it harder for a black man to succeed than a white man.

I do not agree with you that social/cultural differences are a result of systemic racism - mainly because I accept the dictionary definition of racism in which the term "systemic racism" only applies to systems which have active procedures based on racist principles. In my world it cannot be "systemic racism" unless there is an active racist component to it.

I do not know for sure why Indians and others have these preferences but one possible explanation is karma. Mindstreams with certain mental tendencies seek embodiment in a familiar situation. In this view there are no accidents of birth. Regardless of whether this theory is correct or not, based on my childhood experiences I would be very careful before employing social engineering to correct what people voluntarily choose to do.

I still say it's McConnel, but Barr's stock is certainly rising.

The link you posted was disgusting. I see this situation as a rather big problem for the Democrats when they take power. I'm not expecting a simultaneous transition to social tranquility.

I don't think the federal government can sustain a passive attitude like the mayor of Portland.  Right now it's much easier to be the opposition than the ruling party. How do balance the need for order with not being oppressive?

I'm seeing a lot of parallels to 1968 with Humphrey and Biden, even though Humphrey lost: a middle of the road VP, better than the guy he was running against, but not going to please the progressives and people who took to the streets. The Democratic convention was a bloody mess and was later determined to have been primarily caused by the police, but it was a reputational disaster for the party.

They're not the most credible source so I'm waiting to see who else might go with this story. But the New York Post is right of center, and the timing seems auspicious for the Republican establishment to make an attack on the administration.

Credible or baseless, I did not expect this Russia business to go away, and believe that next year is when it really gets going. Or maybe the GOP just wants to get a head start on the Democrats.

And yet you have to pull teeth to get anyone to talk about it. Yet, nowadays you cant go a day without hearing about the plight of the black man and him being a  perpetual victim of the system

It makes perfect sense.  Black people have it far worse than white folk.  The fact that some white folk have it worse than others based on faith is a much less important problem at this point.
