Hey Puduwoke,

I prepare them the same as the others (Cubensis, Mexicana, Pan, Caerulescens, etc.) :

Substrate :

• 4 straw or Horse manure
  
• 2 coco coir
  
• 1 Vermiculite
  
• 5% gypsum
  

Casing :
50% Peat, 50% Vermiculite, 10% gypsum, Teaspoon per cup of peat of Hydrated Lime

Bring all of them to field capacity, and pasteurized for 2h at 160°F

The only big difference (specially from Pan) : They need very little air movement (A monotub is great)



On a SGFC, they tend to get reversed cap (Thx Mycorry for the tips )

Well dumb as I'm..  as I'm typing. I could always just love my fae in my GH if they are the only mushroom in there at the time.

Another question regarding the fae. Would you say they need more or equal to cubensis?

Have you tried growing them on any other substrate. If so, what?

My pleasure buddy, semperviva are my favorites

I've never had a GH, but I think it was harder to maintain a favorable environnement for those who tried.
But if you can lower it, that might just work.

I would say the same as cubensis, but I never grew both at the same time and my environnement would change a lot depending the season.

Yeah, you can grow them on supplemented coir too normally (I think I did coir, cheap store manure or compost and verm with good results)
