There's a tiny bit of mycelium juuust poking up in a couple places on the cased grain container too, but it's not worth a pic right now.

Update on my container grow of Ps. Cyanescens and Ps. Azurscens.
I started them on agar in January I think. Got them onto wood chips in February, colonized a 48 oz Tupperware container of wood chips by April. In May transferred those to a shoebox and filled in around them with ocean forest potting soil with hydrated wood pellets mixed in. Planted grass seed on top and left them outside. We’ve had a spell of cooler weather 45-55 F at night and a fair bit of rain. Noticed the Cyanescens were pinning today. Sadly it’s all on the side!
After the photo I cut the corners and peeled the plastic back a 1/4 inch so the have room to grow.

Still hoping I’ll get some on top of the casing!

Did you see I think it’s 99.99 has his tub outdoors and it’s fruiting for some reason even though it’s in the 80s??

I never tried woodlovers they’re my final frontier. Gonna have to get into this at some point.

I've seen cyans in the wild fruit with day temps from 80F down to sub freezing.

Same here my cultivated patch of P azurescens fruited in Sept with temps in the 90's lows mid 50's zone 7. Patch had ground cover vine plant keeping the wood chips shaded and moist. These fruit more like plants and sense the daylight fading.

good shit jake👍👍 il be waiting for updates on them all but them libs are one that i know everyone wishes there was a straight up tek that produces consistant results of for sure. its been one ive thought about a lot also but just never tried cuz im not properly set up for such a thing indoors and i know how difficult it is to cultivate. i hope u can pull it off and have it all docmented along the way. i know back when i was thinking about them i was thinking of using sod as a casing that way the roots of the grass were right on top of my substrate bed and i was just curious how well that would work. i just was wonderin if having the root structure of the grass already in place when it came into contact with good strong myc if that would help in any way but i never got around to trying it outside here

Day temps are 55-60
Night have been dropping to the low 40s

In the picture if you look closely on the left there are about 3-4 more pins hiding in the grass...

Hey guy so I got this culture from Virdis420 and at the time he told me it's an unknown blue staining psilocybe from NSW,AUS. Other than that I don't have mich info other than this pic. Shroomery won't let me upload it for some reason so heres an imgur link.

Well I've been kind of nonchalantly keeping it alive while working on other projects and ended up spawning a shoebox around the same time I spawned the zaps. Well I can see these 2 little pins poking up now!


They're kind of hard to see because they're like the sice of a pinhead, but theres 2 there. They've got grey heads it looks like so far but we will see. Anyone recognize this species?

It's the same sub as the zaps. Coir/jungle mix/verm/straw/black kow/superfine alder chips. Cased with peat/verm/lime.

Meh view of a T3 of ps. weraroa var subsecotioides I dropped to barley last night.  Still making up my mind what sub ingredients to use so open to suggestions.  I have everything from manure and fir pellets to coir and pinecones to clay and hay so just not sure.  Will be an indoor project for sure...  I have four more plates with various expressions of growth to use in different tubs.  Took almost a year to get it through my head that playing with different culture types was key with woodlovers/exotics...
