yes even woodlovers, psilocybes aren't symbiotic. sub choice will indeed effect results though mainly because grains suck balls to fruit on:lol:

Thank you for that.  I've been saying the same thing for years.  No secret. Just time.  My journal says "a path to easy exotics". It's simply a chaotic mess of kitchen projects and cookie jars lol. But it drives the point home.  Nothing special, just time.  It's some of the sloppiest work I've done but it still works :lol:
I'll expand on the grain fruiting and add straw. I have yet to see a psilocybe not fruit on it. Some better than others, but always some kind of fruiting.  Even Samui's and they're one of the most sensitive species.

I was supposed to set my shed up for edibles when I moved here but I bought a couple boats:facepalm::lol: sucks because live across the street from a paperclip so there is literally mountains of free wood chips outside:lol:

I'm kinda surprised he's not. Definitely has the golden rule of exotics figured out.. and to take something that most have only dreamed of to a reality? Impressive to say the least.

MS to pearl barley. Spawned to shredded straw. Casing mix is cactus soil. Possibly a little verm mixed in, but I can't remember on that one.
