This has me thinking I won't be seeing pins for another week at least.  I used a 1/2" CVG top layer during colonization and then cased with 3/4" jiffy/verm at day ten when it looked like this and tossed into the mini:




You may be fine. Not sure about jiffy but coir is still nutes which is probably why mine is waiting to pop through the casing to pin.
I kind of wish I didn't fruit it till it started spotting but you live and you learn :shrug:

I've studied fungi for years, eaten close to 100 species of wild mushroom, and grown many edibles.

Recently a shroomerite sent me some psilocybe prints.

I haven't tripped in years. My life has been changed!

It's becoming stronger. I can feel the hyphae colonizing my neurons. The mycelium is taking over my very being.
I'm not the same as I was before.

Print>agar>few transfers>oats>coir, in a 66qt tub.

Also I just got this cool usb microscope thingy.

Well you should post pics of some of your edible grows. People in this forum and gourmet&edibles like to learn from others experiences. I learned a lot about mycology just by growing oyster and reishi alongside cubes. You are a prime example of how a solid knowledge of mycology can make you a master of cubes pretty much immediately. Good work man, and enjoy. When you are orchestrating your own trip there is nothing better.

I collected some hpoo like 3 weeks ago, but it wasn't dry so I kept it outside hoping it would dry out, but we've had some rain these days and when I went to ckeck today I found two types of mushrooms growing on the poo, no idea what they are, so I'd appreciate if someone tells me.

See the one that is shaped like a bell? WTF!?

The curious thing is that I didn't find any mold, lotta FAE I guess?

Those are the 'invitro' blobs that formed while the holes were taped.  I'm holding out hope for regular dicks throughout the rest of the tub.  We'll see.
