I love "truth", too. Like I said on another thread, run it up the flag pole, no matter how bad it looks. Take it out, stomp on it, wave it around, hold it up for bypassers to look at. But I've been told I'm "too honest". Oh, well.

Aye, I love truth as well. ALthough i remember a discussion about what is "truth"? and it got me thinking about how i analyze my own position concerning "truth".

I like to think that i try my hardest to look at many different view points and ideas, otherwise i would think that i would be trying to run from "the truth", for i guess I still percieve the truth as "out there", and its my task to fit in line with it. It screw me up sometimes, but i think i learn more than I realize sometimes.

Ive never been one to cower away from understanding the truth about things. I guess my position is this: If i dont search for the truth, i will be living in denial, to live in denial would be to step out of bounds with my own life. To step out of my bounds would be to essentially die. So i guess if i try to scurry around the truth, ill just be digging myself a hole.

I think i would rather die in a pursuit for knowledge and truth and meet some unknown end, than try to deny my life of things i should know, and die a distorted individual.... something like that.

Science, Philosophy, observation and or experience.

yep even when truth slaps you in the face real bad. truth provides clairity, as most wake up calls do

Annnnnnd I had a light saber and my friend was there and I said "you look like an indian" and he said "you look like satan" and he found a stick and a rock and he named the rock ooga booga and he named the stick Stick and we both thought that was pretty funny. We got eaten alive by mosquitos but didn't notice til the next day. I stepped on some glass while wading in the swamp and cut my foot open, didn't bother me til the next day either....yeah it was a good time, ended the night by buying some liquor for minors and drinking nips and going to he diner and eating chicken fingers, and then I went home and went to bed.
