Do you even lift bro?
    #18320076 -

Well, do you?

Just for clarification, jerking off and picking up your five foot bong do not count as working out.
Do you workout on at least a weekly basis?
You may choose only one
Do you diet for your workouts?
You may choose only one

I workout, I usually diet when I'm not working out, when I am working out I just eat a lot of protein.

I put no because I don't do more than fuck around on my bench when I think about it as well as do some pushups and curls, and that's not exactly working out.

I figure I get a good enough workout at work.  I would like to start jogging again soon, I'm just waiting for this horrible cough I've had for weeks to go away first.

I don't really diet, I just try to eat relatively healthy.  I find fast food delicious but it always makes me feel sick afterwards and gets expensive fast.

Yeah fuck fast food. I've been working out for a good while now but have only recently started eating right, it's crazy what a difference it makes for my energy levels. I rarely get lethargic anymore.

Another thing I have recently started doing is drinking a black coffee before working out. Shit works so good it's amazing.

I exercise daily.
I kind of diet at a constant level.
My regular eating habits are a diet for most people.

I have recently learned that carbs are king when it comes to working out, unless you do a ketogenic diet. Of course you need the protein too, but eating a big mound of brown rice has helped me maintain my post workout shape much more than just a couple chicken breasts.

Honestly, a consistent diet will help you more than anything.
Complex carbs are king when it comes to maintaining energy, but protein is king for gaining muscle mass.

Yeah I always eat quite a few carbs, anywho. dieting for me means bread, fruit and hummus

Are you a vegetarian?

Yeah I have heard the cliche that body building is 80% diet since middle school, but it didn't really sink in til I started planning my meals a couple weeks ago.

I feel that the added carbs from my pre-workout meal give me so much more energy in the gym that I'm actually able to tear my muscles and build more as opposed to just packing in the protein afterwards. I'm sure it's all a balance though.

Nope, I just recently quit eating red meat, though.

Only birds and fish, occasionally, I eat meat once or twice a week. I believe variety is the best diet, but you can can leave sugar and red meat out. I don't eat too much starch either. potatoes once or twice a week.

lols leave sugar out... what do you think carbs are?  you ever see a marathon runner bonk out?  it is because their muscle glycogen is depleted.  Simple carbs for the win.  I eat brown rice and bananas all day.  Filled with energy

Hell yeah those are a big part of my diet now too. I've bought brown rice for years but am just now starting to use it for food

Brown rice is a complex carbohydrate.
Bananas are sort of in the middle.
They aren't quite all sugar, but they do contain quite a lot.
The major point is that they aren't refined sugar.

I lost like 10 pounds over 2 weeks because I was sick, and then I didn't eat or sleep for a couple days because I did some meth as well.  I've been trying to gain it back for the past 4-5 days now but I can still see it in my face that I'm not back where I was.  I'm short so 10 pounds makes all the difference in the world on me.

I'm going to be good to my body for the foreseeable future now.  I got a new job last month that's whipped me into really good shape and I want to work off of that and give myself the best summer body I've had to date this year.

I don't lift weights anymore, but I climb trees and cut them down or prune them for a living.  I get a LOT of exercise.

Most people eat way too much protein. I bought into the "need to eat 1 gram of protein per lb of bodyweight to gain muscle mass" bullshit for a long time. It's just bullshit though.....even hardcore athletes don't even need half of that.

I stopped supplementing with protein shakes, and I eat a lot more fruits, veggies, nuts & whole grains. I also stopped taking a multivitamin because it's unnecessary. I do take a preworkout for added energy & cause it feels good. I lift weights, run & do some yoga. I'd like to bike too, but I can't afford one right now.
