Maybe the dots of light really were unnatural. But why jump to the conclusion that they were alien spacecraft? Why couldn't they be flying unicorns with bioluminiscent fur, or enormous glowing rocks thrown in great parabolas over the sky by ancient sea monsters, and then controlled remotely by voodoo magic?
How do we discriminate between all these possibilities? Does anyone have any suggestions?

There are so many unexplainable things that happen within the universe, no one can say for sure what causes certain things to occur. One night me and my bf were lying in his backyard, and he lives in the country so the stars are 100 times better then at my house in town. But we saw a light just move across the sky, it looked like it was flashing but it's so hard to keep focusing your eyes, so it just coulda been our eyes playing tricks on us. We both ended up losing sight of it at the same time, don't really know if it vanished, or if we just took our eyes off it for a few seconds and couldn't relocate it. Either way it was cool, i don't really want to try and understand the secrets of space, i just want to sit back and stare at the stars and admire their beauty without trying to comprehend just how insignificant we really are compared to all that is out there...

I think I have used a system of logic to deduce this.
We all know there is no first hand evidence unless you happen to of witnessed aliens getting out of a UFO.
So therefore we must study the evidence that history holds. Can anyone give me a reason why hundreds of people that have never met claim to have seen the same thing?
Were they all deluded and having a mass hallucination?
Were they all hoaxes built on an international cult that lasted throughout history?
Maybe people really like the idea of aliens abducting,paralysing and fucking with them so they all made it up?
Or just maybe we are not at the top of the evolution chain, why is this so hard to accept!!!

Because we have science to disregard those options. Still a star-like ogject that moves doesn't seem like any 'craft' i could imagine...but its really hard to say what it was other than something unknown. It could very well be new technology, that is being tested more and more, but there are factors that are not consistent.

(edit: unidentified flying objects.. are anything thats flying and you cant identify=D) Theres always the possibility, but when you look at the sheer number of other possibilities, and still cling to the concept that you saw alien spacecraft dancing in the night sky..

I'm reading this crap and laughing.
Az the Swami only answers selectively because he cannot answer. He is ignorant because he is unwilling to even consider a new beleif.
