Free Online Accredited University!

It doesn't exist yet, but wouldn't that be awesome! It was an idea me and some friends came up with while chillin and smokin. We always bitch about paying for tuition and books we dont need, and the idea finally clicked; why not have a free online college? Theres so much information out there on the internet for free, you can learn anything you want, what we need now is something that organizes that information and gives people a real curriculum to follow. I mean thats basically what forums like the shroomery are, it would kinda work the same way, also like wikipedia with volunteers and such.

Theres so many possibilities with it; a professor would only have to record their video lectures one time and thousands of people could watch it; you wouldn't have to buy expensive books, or if you did you could get affordable e-versions. There would be a forum just like here, live video chat, and presentations. Its really not a far-fetched idea as there are already accredited online universities, you just have to pay for them. And maybe we couldn't make our college completely free per se, students might have to pay a small entrance and administrative fee, but it would definitely be way cheaper than anything else currently offered. Since some of the staff would have to be paid (contractors, teachers) the university would have to raise funds, which could easily be done by advertising some like facebook does, they're worth billions now!

There's so many details we need to work out but i think its a really solid idea; I dont care if somebody steals it, if they actually started a free online university i would be happy! I mean its frustrating to think how many minds are being wasted and not being given the same opportunity others get just because they dont have enough money. Really its a system to keep us worker drones that are just smart enough to carry out basic functions, but not smart enough to question their government.

Help me get some more ideas on this and let's make this happen!
