Defense spells needed

I believe a group of people are using black magicks to make my life a living hell. Particularly they are using techniques to control my thoughts and alter the tides of fate. How can I oust these dark practitioners?

Stones and sigils will be helpful too.

Id like to add that I am not generally a spell magician. When I did a spell to break a curse I became a true believer as the curse was lifted.

That magick is in the minds of the people. I need something tangible to believe in.

I would prefer something simple an organic to a fluffy drawn out ritual, but I am accepting of both types an everything inbetween.

They can learn from your responses to the negative greetings.
And you can learn about them as well.

You are already looking to separate yourself from this 'contact'
It is a desired effect in their motivations.
Bring the game.
Dont run.
Never run !

I think you misunderstand me. I dont see these people everyday. I dont even see them once a month. They are using magick from afar.
I refuse to use black magick back on them, I will not sink to their level.
I do not know where this person resides or who they are but I have my suspicions.

well, one thing that will help is a daily banishing routine...it doesnt have to be as formal as the LBRP, it can involve elements of your daily life, maybe growing out of your yoga.

I believe there is one very powerful witch who has others working with her in ritual against me. If I still had my scrying tools I could confirm the suspicion.
Im sure I could do it without them....I can only divine with certain objects though and not everything calls to me.

I did misunderstand you only in thinking that you do not know these people at all.

Apart from that..
My response remains.

Do not try to defend yourself..that must mean you are being attacked.
Rather.. look at it as a mutually benefitial contact.

They come to me with death and sorrow... yet my smile disgusts them.
Perhaps they will feel like their attack is backfiring...
Maybe we shall smile together..

Hmm...interesting.

It is very concrete and real and Im afraid that if I go undefended it will destroy my free will.
Perhaps my free will is an illusion. I can thank them for destroying the illusion, but the acts that they make me do to serve their dark purposes are very unfavorable if not completely humiliating.

Hmm...so I should try to clear up THEIR motives and make them see the error in their ways?

I do agree that black magick is a negative addiction. It makes people hideous and they require further magick to hide that hideousness.

Im still trying to figure out their motives, these are a few guesses:

1) spite
2) revenge
3) mistaken identity
4) to gain power
5) Sadism
6) to use my frustration to accomplish some goal for them
7) to stifle me from doing my "great work"
8) to attack someone else through me

Once I do black magick once it becomes a habit for me. Even the fact that their black magick makes me do grey magick makes me uneasy.

I am going to enchant a talisman to auto reflect negative energies.

I personally find the darker arts likewise addicting.  The best defense is to maintain a spiritual wholesomeness but that delicious power is sometimes just too compelling.

The thought of gaining unfathomable power EASILY is very enticing.

Basically it is like stealing a car versus working a shit job for years to buy it.

With black magick is is much easier to attain power. With white magick it is much more difficult to attain power but the power attainable is greater.

How do you figure?  By definition white magick is limited in that it cannot go against free will.

The advantage that white magick has over black is that the white practitioner does not lose his or her soul (read: capacity for love).

You can gain power without going against anyone's free will. This means that the power is internal and does not depend on the loss of other's power to take effect.
Instead of power being absorbed from other humans/entities the power is absorbed from Solar or Universal energies.

While it is much more convenient to absorb power from another person;
There is only so much power that can be absorbed from another person. There is only so much power that can be absorbed from all of humanity.
The power absorbable from the universe is limitless.
