According to the laws of physics the moon should be spinning.

There are many mathematical coincidences between the Earth, Sun and Moon as if the system was tuned.

There is more scientific evidence supporting the theory that the moon was stabilized by aliens than supporting the bible.

No, dont tell him that.  Then we will have another zero point energy thread in the science forum!

The moon is spinning, what do you mean?

I mean the Moon should appear to be spinning, we only see one side.

I know, we just happen to be here when it's orbital period happens to match it's rotation due to tidal friction.

There are just too many strange coincidences in astronomy.

You know what's not real though? Gideons. One day, when I'm in a hotel, I'm going to complain that there's no bible in my room, and I'm going to capture me a real live Gideon. They will divuldge their secrets and where to find their pot of gold,

Ha, I used to live in the town that was the birthplace of the Gideon Bible. :smirk:

I'll provide an example from http://www.earthage.org/youngearthev/evidence_for_a_young_earth.htm
1.  Receding Moon:
The gravitational pull between the Earth and Moon causes the Earth’s oceans to have tides.  The tidal friction  between the Earth’s terrestrial surface and the water moving over it causes energy to be  added  to the Moon.  This  "results in a constant yearly increase in the distance between the Earth and Moon."1 This tidal friction also causes the Earth’s rotation to slow down, but  more importantly,  the energy added to the Moon causes it to recede from  the  Earth.1,2  The rate  of recession was measured at  four centimeters per year in 1981; 3  however, according to Physicist Donald B. DeYoung:

"One cannot extrapolate the present 4 cm/year separation rate back into history. It has that value today, but was more rapid in the past because of tidal effects.  In fact, the separation rate depends on the distance to the 6th power, a very strong dependence ... the rate ... was perhaps 20 m/year ‘long’ ago, and the average is 1.2 m/year. 1

Because of this, the Moon must be less than 750 million years old -- or 20% of the supposed 4.5 billion-year age of the Earth-Moon system.4
Note: Even though the maximum age obtained from this method is more than 10,000 years, it is nevertheless much younger than the alleged 4.5 billion year age for the Earth-Moon system proposed by evolutionists. Note also that nobody knows how the Moon got to be in its present orbit. All of the proposed theories as to where it came from have serious problems. It is a complete mystery — unless of course it was designed that way from the beginning.

A lot of evidence? The one you cited isn't even evidence of the claim. Even if the moon could not have been there for 4.5 billion years, it doesn't mean in any way that the Earth wasn't.

Yeah, give a system billions of years to develop an order and I'm sure just too many coincidences will seem "strange". :strokebeard:

According to the laws of physics, the back of Saturn in this picture should be pitch black, yet there is a cool glow. All it simply means is that our conceptions of what the laws of the universe are are not fully correct in all situations.

Um, that's not a coincidence. Tidal-locked orbits are incredibly common.

The wikipedia article on tidal locking explains how it happens, and then says:
Quote:
Most significant moons in the Solar System are tidally locked with their primaries, since they orbit very closely and tidal force increases rapidly (as a cubic) with decreasing distance.

I dunno~....
It all makes so much sense, then all of the sudden it all shatters and none of the pieces seem to fit back together right....
So, I make a puzzle that doesn't quite fit together the best I can, and then that shatters....
The "profound" moments are few and far between, and as time passes, it makes you question just how profound those moments really were....

So, to answer your question, I don't know what I/we create, besides experience, and that just seems to be a co-creation....
So, we live a co-created life, with co-created experiences, in a co-created universe....?
I dunno~....    :ohwell:
