Jumping Lightyears: The Evolution of Interstellar Travel
    #8007672 - 02/11/08 05:13 AM (15 years, 11 months ago)

This is a book presented at Amazon.com.

"WOW! This is absolutely fascinating, and something inside me says that it is true. " -- Leslie Swan
Can't ask for a better endorsement than from the gut-feelings of a wide-eyed reader.

About the Author

Dr.H is a mystic, a philosopher, and something of a recluse, with no wish to be recognized and bothered by strangers.

Anonymity is very important when you want to make false claims about your academic background.

He experienced the Illumination of Fire, also called Cosmic Consciousness, at age 31.
Who here hasn't?

As a child on the farm, he not only saw a UFO at close range, he also once participated in table-tipping, a form of PK.
Of course, if he saw a UFO at close range he could probably identify it. Wow! I have never before heard of anyone commingling such diverse topics before. And a sasquatch tucked him into bed at age 8 and fairies brought him his slippers in the morning.

With degrees in physics and philosophy, he has pursued both topics away from the academic world.
Aha! I already wrote about this before even reading it. Am I prescient or does every single wackoid follow the same formula?

He has created the first non-paradoxical interpretation of quantum mechanics, and the first non-reductionist quantum based theory of the mind.Dr.H
Peer reviewed or did he just impress his uneducated friends?

Dr.H is the pseudonym of a professional scientist whose reputation would be ruined if it ever got out that he believes in UFOs and psychics, much less that these are integral parts of our long journey to the stars.
His reputation would be writ large in the history books if he could back up a single assertion.

He believes it is possible.
Therefore it must be true!

Not by technology. The laws of physics forbid it,and every scientist knows it. That is why they ignore UFO sightings.
Do immunologists, chemists, computer scientists, molecular biologists ignore UFO sightings "because the law of physics for bid it"? Um, no.

The laws of physics says absolutely nothing about UFO sightings. And 'scientists' generally refrain from spending a great deal of time in things outside of their field. Duh!

In a way, they are like Galileo´s colleagues at the University of Padua, who simply knew that spots on the sun or craters on the moon were impossible.
They (millions of disparate individuals working for the betterment of mankind instead of wasting a short lifespan pursuing fantasy) have almost nothing in common with Galileo's detractors other than being human.

Seems he forgot to mention something about the flat earth and how one famous person said we would never fly.

Dr.H has written a book whose foundation lies in certain similarities between the behavior of UFOs and of poltergeist phenomena. He knows his physics too, and in fact, has written a revolutionary chapter on modern physics which shows that the paradox, singularities and infinities can all be thrown out without changing the equations. And he points out some overlooked experiments relevant to (1) anti-matter having anti-gravity, and (2) the absorption and emission of gravitons by Earth, altering the spin vector by 10 milli-arc-seconds or more.

This book contains the secret to interstellar travel, and a road map for the 3rd Millennium. Not by technology. Not by electro-gravitics. Not by cosmic wormholes. No FTL. No warp 9. Those things are known to be impossible by everyone who knows a little physics. Yet, the UFOs are here. We will laugh, my Kepler, at the extraordinary stupidity of those who ignore this overwhelming and obvious fact. They levitate silently over our landscape and apport instantly across lightyears. By the powers of the Mind. Mind is a natural object, made of dark matter, with size, shape, internal structure, interacting with the body by de Broglie waves, and by effortlessly bending the geodesics of space time. These ideas are all testable with scientific apparatus.

There is too much laugable stuff here and I am getting tired, but 'obvious facts' do not need to keep being restated endlessly with no solid evidence unless such 'facts' are *drum roll please* NOT OBVIOUS AT ALL!

the title should reveal pseudo scientific junk:
evolution is not applicable to space travel unless it is a life form subject to mutation and selection.

tangling with the details of it is a form of mental masturbation.

Don't tell me that you actually read this sort of garbage?

"A warrior is a hunter. He calculates everything. That's control. Once his calculations are over, he acts. He lets go. That's abandon. A warrior is not a leaf at the mercy of the wind. A warrior is tuned to survive, and he survives in the best of all possible fashions." ― Carlos Castaneda

I am very ill (despite many homeopathic remedies) and am housebound. What do you better recommend as humor to lift my spirits and quell my boredom?

Sorry to hear about your illness. I hope you get better. Here are some books you may enjoy. They got to be better than that UFO crap.

They are PDFs but it still a book... They will give you ideas about what you can do with all of the free time you now have while being sick.

Here is one on the death touch in case you need to defend yourself while sick. It requires a minimum of effort to touch someone and kill them apparently. Don't practice this stuff on yourself.

I been scared to even touch my neck or abdomen since reading that last one. The final book is on how to be a mind control ninja. Mind control can be done from the couch I suppose.

Oh yeah, here is a classic quote from the ninja mind control book:
Quote:

Do not overexert yourself. A Ninja never strains.
