In 2008 I can expect the Antichrist will be elected?

Same here...
Though to get us back onto a political topic... Other than the outlier (Ron Paul), is there anybody that is still in the race for president that could be considered a good person? I don't know enough about Obama to judge him, but the rest, as far as I can tell, are corrupt pro-globalization war mongers.

I think Obama is a good person. I think McCain is a good person too, though his foreign policy views are a little dated.

Somebody advocating a 100-year-long war is not a good person, in my opinion.

In my view, the concept of the antichrist is just a clever way to have people be critical of even the best-looking(& acting) human.
"That guy. He's damn near perfect. He must be the ANTICHRIST!!!"
That said, I don't think the antichrist will ever be a candidate in the US.

Ignorant people that don't vote for some one because they think that person has no chance of winning are pawns of the media, Sorry souls that are the root of corruption in our government system. Them along with non voters should be sent to Mexico. We could trade all those useless fucks for hard working Mexicans to boost the econemy like in the past. Any one that would actuley vote to make a passionate person who actuley cares about making a change in our failing government should be charged with treason

It goes like this: RP gets elected, the Mayans were wrong about 2012. Anybody else wins, well at least they got almost 4 years right?

You don't really take the ending of the Mayan calender seriously do you? Cant the ending of that thing simply be attributed to ancient mathematicians getting bored of calculating for days they will never see then the priests making up some shit so people alive at the time would feel batter about dying?
If you actually look into it, the Mayan calender doesn't predict "the end of time and the apocalypse" it merely marks the end of a Mayan age. For some reason, the ending of one age usually meant great death and suffering followed by glorious revival.
If you really have a boner about the end of the world, there are more tangible reasons for it happening than all of the shit we've made coming to life and killing us, eg. nuclear war, plague, objects colliding with earth, super volcanoes, climate change, and other natural disasters.

No man, it was a joke. I don't really think the world will end in 2012. But imagine if McCain got elected, and we end up starting WWIII, and somebody pushes the button as the clock strikes midnight, Dec 21, 2012. Who'd a thunk it?
I'm being facetious. That's the whole point. A nuclear war could happen (but hopefully not) by 2012. In which case, they were right. But I personally don't believe it.
