Use a 22 for when you want them to die in a hospital. Use a 9mm for so-so stoppage,lol. Use a .45 to stop them mid-thought. Use a DE.50 to scare them, provided you dont have to actually fire it, cuz it would suck to miss 7 shots and be left standing there.The Eagle IS a novelty gun, is legal in most states, but heres the catch. Its ILLEGAL to use even in self defense against a human.

Uhh, I don't think so. As long as it's registered and legal, it doesn't matter if you use a Desert Eagle or a damn cannon.

I was stating that it's more than likely illegal to hunt with in most places.

Why do you think it's illegal for self defense use?

I would like to get a FN five-seven, super light, super accurate, and high penetration...the only handguns i have even shot are a 9mm ruger and a .40 glock model 23 and a python 357 revolver. The only one that impressed me was the python...

I've got a Glock 22, .40 cal.

It is pretty much buttery smooth :awesome:

I'd like to try out some .45s since it seems that everybody is making a 1911 of their own these days.  Would be cool to shoot the Springfield vs. Kimber vs. Wilson Combat etc

Not the .50 Action Express.

.50bmg has great penetration against non hardened armor, but a .50AE pistol round won't do jack shit comparatively.

.50BMG has about 5 times the energy and travels about twice as fast as a .50AE.

Just get a hunting revolver if you are itchin to stop someone dead in their tracks, if it can stop an elephant it can stop a person.

BTW I was at the shooting range awhile ago and some guy had a DEAGLE, that thing was scary. It sounded like a cannon

I was always under the impression that a .50 "Desert Eagle" was designed to take down or damage low flying helicopters... I heard a story where someone lies down on their back, and when a chopper flys over, they simply dump all 7 rounds into the belly.

I have no idea if it's true or not, but I was told that. :shrug:
