GoodbyeOrb the X axis is your total time registered. If you're registered less than a year there might not have been a label, I fixed that. Oregon your posts per day is already public since people can see a list of your posts and when you posted them. I don't see what the big deal is.

they are public yes, not in a nice graphic format though.

other things like user online status, what post they are looking at, and 'last seen' are all set by a users personal preference.
a graph of a users posting stats should be the same way(on/off per users discretion).

cereal, what's it matter dude?  all someone would have to do is figure out your # of days reg'd then divide that by yer post count and they'd know anyway

Yeah and all someone would have to do is search the forums to see when your last post was and they'd know when you're last seen, but there's still an option to turn that off.
The graph also shows average post count at a time period, not just overall. It doesn't seem like it would be hard to make it so you can toggle it on/off, I don't see what the big deal is.

no, i was asking oregon if he is fucking serious, not ythan. Who the fuck cares if other users can see a graph of your post count?

I know who you were asking... hence why I put up a response that defended Oregon's request.
Who the fuck cares if other users can see if you're online or not?
I'm just saying it doesn't seem like it would be very hard to implement. WHY he doesn't want others to see the graph shouldn't matter, if he doesn't want it and it's easy, then why not do it?

Okay well whatever I added it as an option for supporters.

uhh thanks?

since the poster of the post graph idea was also a supporter(not) and all ,and quick implementation of that users idea was realized.:wtf:

(I'm not trying to rub you the IrishDrunk way here either).

The difference is that the post graph was an interesting idea that I think a lot of people will use, the option to block the post graph is a nit-picky option which probably only you would ever use.

it would be harder to make the option to toggle the function on/off for all users and not just then supporters?:smirk::rolleyes:

"probably only you would ever use"...
...why take it to a probability level and not accept and implement a free and applicable idea (*ahem* that you already implemented for supporters only)for those that regged here freely?

I wouldn't mind "paying dues", I wouldn't like to feel coerced to do so though..:peace:

(the above statement is in a constructive, positive tone, please don't ban me)

I'd also hate to say it, but why make it a supporter option if you think he's the only one who's gonna use it?
I guess the answer is obvious, actually, but you get the idea.

The idea was to wrap up the discussion, some people filibuster until they get what they want (and even afterwards sometimes) and I don't feel like arguing about this.

I don't want to filibuster or argue.
it just doesn't make sense as to why you'd make it a supporter only function if you didn't mainly want money for the functions use.:yesnod:

No I want you to quitcherbitchin. And unless you're a supporter you have no right to demand features or give me a hard time if I make an administrative decision that your idea is pointless. So since you didn't get the message I'm saying it now explicitly.

good point, but that is beside the point here.

sometimes a good fair idea should be available to all considering the feature that it would be correcting/reciprocating to/relating to to is free.
