Having titles that suggested that more senior members are more knowledgable doesn't necessarily hold true. Granted, in general, people like Moe who have a 1000 posts know their shit, but I could post every five minutes to off-topic about my latest jerk-off and send my posts up, up, up and achieve God of Shrooms title while not knowing shit about them. Likewise, knowledgable mycopeople could show up here and have title of 'New Meat' while they are supa-fly in reality. Seniority does not necessarily mean anything other than.... seniority (why Unions suck).

My view is to leave things how they are. But, if changes are made, here would be my suggestions: make it 100 for senior member. 0-29 could just be something like "registered user", and 30-99 could be "junior member".

... er something. Naw, that's a dumb idea, but maybe something like it. Suggestions?

Its a bit of a joke that you only need post 50 times to be 'Senior' - I'd never consider myself Senior at 200 posts - perhaps 'Interested'. But then again Seniority defines nothing about somebodies mycological experience. There are growers surfacing on the net now who have been doing it for over a decade.

Anyway, Yes I agree that different names would be cool and new but I do also feel we might get some wack offs who come here and only want to bullshit when all they know about a Mushroom is from Alice in Wonderland.

I like Mycofiles Idea on the names....as for newbies and or intermediate people knowing what the tile is........oh well(Fuck Em) sorry for their luck if, your growing shrooms or want to discuss cultivation of them..... You should know what a Primordia or abhort is. Maybe it will give the newbies something to look into once there a member with the title of Hyphae. I dont know....another long night Im just rambling......
