Sometimes though you HAVE to ask questions or post pics.
When I was a newbie (not that I'm not still one..) I had to post a pic of something that I wasn't sure if it was contam or mycelia and no FAQ could have answered that. But I did post it to the contam forum instead of the cult forum. I'm still not positive what it was.. maybe the mycelia took over (I froze the thing to try and kill any mold and it seemed to get whiter) or maybe it was just mycelia all along.. cobweb mold is sometimes a pain in the ass to recognize. And if we have a newbie forum then noone will answer newbies questions, which will defeat the very goal of this site which is to spread accurate information and end misinformation.. newbies answering newbies would be a mess.

yes i agree, in fact you admins could just add some kind of message in RED remembering to the new user to search in the faq before posting, in the same page that appears when you start a new thread, no need for a splash screen...

That's pretty much what I had in mind. If this is tried and the problem still exists then at least you'll know an effort was made.

Change the 3 posts to 10 for cultivation and to 20 for advanced.

I remember being unexperianced and asking dumb questions.... I realize that it happens and some people just need to double check shit or whatever... However some people do post amazingly stupid shit. Like what is vermiculite. That pisses me off too. perhaps a splash screen would help....

Anno, go for it.
While you are at it...why not make it impossible for newbies to post for 48 hours......whenever they try to post, have a big pop-up pop-up and tell them they need to review the FAQ before posting......

I give up....the dumb shit usually bleeds through the reason.......

I hust hope you are never "in charge"....you don't seem to have a grasp on who the shroomery is for......HINT: it's not really for advanced growers and it's not for advanced grower who get tired of helping newbies.....
