Thanks for the update, Cassie.  We really do love him.  I've even printed out some of his posts and given them to people in the past.  I've said many times that he is my favorite Shroomery poster.  Thanks for reading our words to him.  That's nice.

This was a good sign that his wit is still intact.
He doesn't say much and sleeps most of the time.
      The doctors are still worried as to why his heart completely stopped. He also said it was amazing that he was still alive. He said he must have a guardian angel watching over him because most people who have a heart attack in there sleep die or suffer so much damage they never awaken.
      As soon as Ryan's heart is more stable they are going to run more tests to get a better understanding of it's condition. I will keep you updated on his progress.
      I am truly touched by all of you and your kind words. I'm going to try to copy this and take your messages into Ryan and read them to him.


Chinacat is one of the few unique individuals i've encountered, in physical proximity or otherwise.
We need him back, because like he said, there is so much more work he has to do.

Most importantly, tell him his extended community loves him.
That we're hopeful and faithful that he'll come back to us.
That  we would be at a serious loss without him.

As an aside, to you..... You're a Shroomerite now....Welcome and take from our strength as you need.  We have enough for everyone. :heart:

Cassie...China is a brother to me and having just read of his plight. Thought I'd share that my own wife went through this with me ( I was dead in the shower).From my own experience ones will to live makes or breaks these situations. I know Ryan want to live. If you could pass along this message from another old "family" friend.
Whiterasta(jim) still has yet to attend country fair with you and you are not alowed to leave this plane until we do just that! Cassie I know you would love my wife Tam and perhaps some of her experience with my DOA heart problem and how she coped would be of help?
Also please know that I LOVE ryan as a brother. If it is needed i will be there in person for you and him any where any time. Please check your PM's

It's wonderful to hear this news and it sounds very much like his chances for a full recovery are good to say the least :heart: :smile:

And yes he does have a guardian angel, I can picture Jerry giving him a kick in the ass and sending him back to us where he belongs.
