Chinacat72 - Spirit and Verve - A Notice to the Community * 1

It is with a heavy heart that I bring this news to so many of you that love and care for our fellow member, chinacat72.  As there is no easy way to bear such news.. chinacat's wife Cassie contacted me early this morning during a sleepless night, to share with all of you, that on saturday night our brother suffered a massive heart attack.  She awoke that night to find that her husband wasn't snoring as per the usual.  Upon a touch, she realized he wasn't breathing at all and proceeded to provide CPR.  There is no telling how long he was out before she was able to tend to him.  He has since undergone emergency angioplasty and is still in critical condition. At this point the doctors are not yet certain of the amount of damage his heart may have sustained. 

Realizing how much her husband cares about this website and its community members, she wanted me to let you all know about this so that we can all do our part to send some healing vibes his way.  She relates, "Ryan believed in love more than anything and I think thats what he needs now.  I love him so much!  His friends have been coming out since sunday, with more arriving everyday.  With love, cassie"

It is beautiful to see that one of china's most recent post here conveys such a warm message of peace, content, and love.  I think this is one of the primary reasons that so many of us have come to love the man behind the countless tales of counterculture history and personal experience; for he is truly a gem surfaced from deep within the collective consciousness, an awakened soul, a person overflowing with such kindness and mystique that I can't help but feel as if he were a father of my own, subconsciously helping to guide me on a healthy path between the dawn and the dark of night.  If only I knew the way, I would take him home...

He is a good man. I loved reading his posts about how things used to be.

i hope he's ok, and makes it out of it fine. i never really spoke to him much except in regards to family, but he seemed like a very nice and intelligent person.

I always got the impression from his posts that he was a very loving and caring soul.

It's always the good ones that get massive heart attacks or brain tumors or are assassinated. It's far rarer that the bad guys get any of these things. Shame really.

I truly hope that he pulls through. Doubtlessly he will have an incredible tale for us if he does.
