They ditched the project because they learned, just like Hitler did, that you can't use astral projection and psychic powers for evil (control & manipulation through fear) and destruction and get away with it unscathed.

How about using it for good, like stopping terrorists or finding Bin Laden? The government can't use magic powers for this either?

I'll chance a guess at the reason you won't apply. You have no such powers and like all other mystics before you, can only talk about your powers but you cannot demonstrate them.

That's one in a million crazy experiences I've had. I felt like sharing it. I don't sit here and talk about them all day. Nor do I feel like making an effort to prove myself to you or Randi. Nor is said friend even in the same country as me right now. If you or Randi want to come travel with me, I'd be obliged to take you along and you see what you may see. But I don't sit around practicing telepathy all day, when I have the time to do that I'll be sure to let you know. I was sharing one profound experience I had, not claiming I am a master telepath.

I'm doing no backpedaling, I only move forward. I am still matter of fact about my telepathic experiences. They are very personal and intimate communications through direct subconscious links. Do I call it mystical? No, I call it natural.

Would I like to be rich? Sure, so I could buy a nice laptop and an RV and a bunch of music equipment and a healing art studio and give a bunch of money to my family and people who need it. Do I actively seek out material possessions? No. That would be nice. But maybe I like being poor, maybe I need to experience it that way. Am I supposed to justify my existence to you? Maybe I will be rich someday. Rich in what way though?

I like my life. I have a lot of challenges that I face and thus learn from. I have a lot of friends and people who love me, who I love. If I were to take Randi's challenge, I would be damn sure I was prepared for it, by doing it a million times without fail, taping it, witnesses, etc. I don't go into something like that half-assed. I also don't have that kind of energy to expend, I have priorities in life, people to take care of, places to go. You say I'm making false claims about experiences you didn't experience, I say whatever. I mention a time I had an amazing experience with a very close friend and a telepathic bond, you tell me to prove it to the world. What if I told you about the times I was intimately close to a person I love and our souls merged into one, would you want me to prove that too?

Or how about when I take a shit, and have a divine revelation at the same time. Is that mystic?

Sorry for being sarcastic. I just don't understand why I'm supposed to center my life around proving randi wrong and getting a million dollars. If it happens, it happens. So be it. But what the fuck? I have enough things to worry about as it is. If he comes to my door I'll invite him in.

Any non-linear mode of thought is difficult to prove in a linear fashion, or scientifically. People who have had astral experiences, and linked to other people on a level higher than the material have difficulty explaining it to people who haven't, in any linear, scientific, or easily understandable terms... Novelty is  the easiest way to express that which does not exist on the same lowly plane as us..
  The unprovable truth still remains.. Humans have but one consciousness that is shared by all human beings. In everyday life most people only have ego-based perceptions of reality, but for some, easier than others, this boundary can be dissolved, and knowledge, communication, and love become a universally understood expression of humanity.
