I honestly doubt anyone in this forum has been enlightened, this is because once u have been enlightened it is permanent, and u cannot be enlightened, because its frankly impossible to get enlightened via drugs, it takes time, patience, love and of course years of meditation, being enlightened is like living in another world, where you feel you are the universe and the uinverse is within you, so i doubt that very much, sorry guys, you probally reached a stage of awareness, that is possible i agree, drugs can bring about that stage, but remember being enlightened is beyond the MIND.

"being enlightened is like living in another world, where you feel you are the universe and the uinverse is within you"

what you just described is EXACTLY how i felt when i was enlightend. the knowledge lasted, but the experience of it faded. i think you are right in saying that meditation is the way to true enlightenment, because only then is it lasting. however drugs CAN give you a short cut to this state, it just doesnt seem to last.

Some of you said the feeling would fade, and to some extent, it has, but i will still remember what i was feeling.

The feeling is impossible to explain, because i can't really compare it to anything else that I have felt or even heard about.
The closest thing to it is like being inside my mind, actually inside my brain.

After smoking almost 1/8 of strong bud, I began to meditate. I didnt really realise what was happening and what had happened until I shook off the feeling. I was my brain, my mind, and I was at one with every existing thing in the universe. The language that my brain was experiancing was alien. I was behind the control panel to my brain, the actual thing controlling my life that I am not in control of during my daily life.

During this experiance, i realised my experiance of life previously was has been meaningless. I was an undead, walking around this world, believing what i want to believe, having no understanding of who I really am. I was experiancing the language my brain uses.
I had woken up, to what was a higher conscious of what we experiance daily.

It was not a frightning experiance during the time, but after the experiance I was afraid that everything and everyone around me has no idea of the truth about things, and will just continue to live their daily lives just as they are doing so now.

The next day felt, i felt that my brain my just projecting everything around me, just manifesting what i wanted to see. In reality, we do not actually see what is really there, it is merely an interpretation of the brain, the electrical impulses that makes the brain what it is.
I was in complete understand of these electrical impulses.

At the time i felt awakened into another place, but it seems that my brain just doesnt want me to awake to the higher conscious. The filters are going back into place, and soon im going to probably be the same again, believing what i want to believe, and lose most of the self-realisation that i gained.

Just remember, you have the power to hold onto the INSIGHT gained by it if you choose to.

The feeling will fade, but you can maintain control over your brain if you wish to. It is a difficult practice, but basically the act of meditation IS doing this.. keeping your brain on a leash, instead of allowing your brain to keep YOU on a leash.

You CAN pull this into your everyday life. It is not the easiest thing in the world... just remember not to be afraid of failure. You will fail, over and over. But if you do not allow it to frustrate or upset you, you can try again and again. Eventually you will find that you go for longer and longer periods of time where "you" are "in control."

You're sweet JC!

Event,

I say, ya gotta look at waking up as a process of hitting the snooze button and falling back asleep many times over and feeling groggy before you shake the thick of it off for good. Even then, it never ends as there is always new stuff to wake up to as well. You just start retaining it better.

I don't see how anyone can be fully awake to all of existance inside and out forward and backwards. We're in a continuem of waking up to new things. When I here people say, "I am awake" I think, "To what?'What does it really mean when people say it and ya here it? There is so much to wake up to.

The bottom line is, beds are warm and comfortable and cozy and difficult to get out of UNLESS you are excited to embark on a new day. When you have something planned that you are really excited about doing, it's easy to spring out of bed with vigor and get to it.

This is one of the reasons why I suggest to those coming out of the groggies to start tapping into their future selfs and future energy. It'll stir a sense of excitment to keep ya outta bed and help with the rewiring process to increase memory capacity that will help sustain wakeful periods. When your in it, rev it up and amp the shit out of it. Vroom Vroom and take it for spins.

Ya gotta get excited about your future. Ya gotta get excited about your now to keep it going. Next time ya come out of it , get excited and start putting something into action with that energy. The action will help to pull it in better and give you more grounds for running the energy through.

It's a process and we all keep waking up to knew things and its normal to hit the snooze button and fall back asleep too. Even people awake during the day take naps. It's all good.

Great analogy, Jig.. the snooze button, grogginess, warm bed.. all of that is a really great way of relating it that I never thought of!

its frankly impossible to get enlightened via drugs

But he said he did it by meditating. It is most likely irrevelant if a minor drug is present, when the factors of enlightenment arise.

it takes time, patience, love and of course years of meditation

If it takes years to learn how to meditate, with no benefit but a lightly tranquilising effect at the beginning, then how on earth did the first person discover it? Somehow, that doesn't sound right to me.

Anyway, seems like a clean satori to me. Congratulations, friend.

Hmm, if so, then what color is green?

Impossible? Why?

For many, but not all.

I found out all i did, by reading books on bhuddism and hinduism and meditating my self, what drugs essentially do is make you lose your ego for a while, and that is why u feel happy, but it wont last, because your "higher self" know u are not, your mind is too clouded, by I am this, I am whoever, and as soon as you lose this feeling of being a person, through practice, u'll get enlightened, and thier is a process called kundalini awakening that happens. In essence your are just getting a glimpse.

I have this problem where I thought I was awake before I started taking drugs recreationally. Once I started I was able to put a finger on what it was about myself that had made me the way I was. Now, unfortunately, I can't convince myself that I can go back to being the way I was Pre-drugs, without drugs.

It's impossible to become enlightened by taking drugs. It's impossible to become enlightened by sitting down to meditate.
