Yooo so guys it's fated to be.

Someone near me is selling a flow hood 2k value for 350 I'ma get it in a few days.

I've dedicated about a solid year to mycology and research.

And I mean literally every minute I've learned something new evin when I'm at work 😎

I'm tired of my work though mycology I can never get tired of somehow.

Same for growing plants and learning new stuff.

Only thing I hate in life is shit I can't learn from and is pointless or redundant and sadly there's alot of that with the fam.

Idk where I'm going with this ig I just wanted to brag about me trying to better myself and put petty shit behind me so I can focus wholely on now and the future

And same time reflecting on what has happened in the past and leaving it there.

Feels like I went hella off track though love you guys il keep sprinting through the swamps 🙏

I double confess.

For the first time in my life I have actually focused on bettering myself and trying to bring respectable people into my friendship.

It's hard Ivam a distasteful person who is bitter and angry about alot and my soft side is at best like a popped bubble. Gone ...

It's hard man... What do you guys honestly think I should do when I'm put in a situation where I try to help someone else more than they try to help themselves and they are just so intrinched just like I am with day to day struggles though entirely different than mine and just don't put effort into evin taking the time to talk?

Lwk It might sound like I'm stepping over bounds though I'm just trying to help them  and idk where to start as every attempt I've made had been abused. And neglected by them my not taking the time put effort in to benifit from it...

I know sometimes you have to make room for progress though I really don't want to abandon them and I don't want to watch them turn out worse ...

Probably sounds like I'm pushy though I'm beyond patient and empathetic at the same time a molten ball of anger n flame... Lol

🥲

I wrote this after 3 double shots of tequila and a full joint +  2 dab hits and meditating for4 hours and thinking how to put this without bringing anyone regrets in the future. 💀

Much love and good vibes

Man, what you wrote is beautiful — and hats off to you for having the guts.

I suspect many of us who end up on this forum feel misunderstood in some part of our lives. We certainly live in times of "followers" rather than "thinkers," and that tends to be considerably more complicated for the latter.

I hear you on what you mean about wanting to help others. It's happened to me many times and still does, but the truth is — if the other person doesn't want to let themselves be helped, there's very little you can do.

On the other hand, in those moments I also remind myself that it's just my subjective vision of what another person actually needs.

If people choose what we consider harmful despite us expressing our opinion — that's their right. And even though it hurts to watch, we have to respect it. Some people need to go through difficult experiences to learn and rebuild their lives.

In the end we're all improvising — nobody knows how to live correctly. And I also end up getting frustrated often, but then I make myself a Sencha and think — what would life be without a good cup of tea?

This morning's tea goes to your health!

Hugs

Man, I don't see you around much but you're so right on. Thanks for taking the time for our bud blood.

Truth in this, blood.

You can only help the ones who want it and sooner or later, you'll get nicked trying to help someone who doesn't want it or isn't ready for it.  frustrating as it is, people have a right to do whatever they like. I got friends i love to death.  Destroy themselves on a daily basis.  Drugs alcohol whatever.  Once in a while one of them will reach out to me for a hand and of course, I'm always there.  "i told you so" isn't helpful either. I keep a pretty full pack, but I try to make sure I got just a little room for the ones who need me to carry a stone for a ways.

Painful business this human condition is. You gotta feel bad for just about every single one of em whos giving it their best.  Thats why that dipshit a couple weeks ago caught an ignore from me. I have zero tolerance for these tough-guys who don't feel for other people. Thats a sure sign of weakness if there ever was one. People do the best they can and make the decisions they think are right and sometimes shit still goes sideways.

Brother, I've seen you come a long way since you came around and I think you're a good person. Being a good person this day and age is whats hard on a guy. Tough to do, seeing people suffer day in and out but at the end of the day, you gotta put your heart where it counts: with yourself and your own.  YOUR family. YOUR animals.

Love you guys. stay soft.

I'm sure you've heard the adage that you can lead a horse to water but you can't make him drink? Communicate with this friend of yours. Let them know what you have told us.  Tell them how hard it is to try to help them repeatedly while watching them treat themselves badly almost habitually.
Easier said than done, I've had this conversation more than once. It might not go well. In many cases, people don't know how much that they do not know. But it is important to establish boundaries and expectations. I'm in similar spot to you of finally giving a shit about myself: of finally caring about what goes into my body, mind, and spirit; as well as being fully consumed with the mycology. It's a bitch and a half to want to improve while still being surrounded by people who want to double down on stagnation. Sometimes we take a path that for various reasons, others can't follow. I hope this is helpful to you.

Well said. None of us really know what we're doing and we're all just winging it.

I'll second this. Learning to be vulnerable and be the real me was one of the hardest things that I have ever done. It continues to take a large amount of effort and courage to be authentic. It was so much easier (in the moment) to continuously pretend to always be ok and just bury the emotions. I can sleep a lot easier knowing that I haven't locked myself away from the people I love.
