idk if I can get 12 or 14g at the pharmacy where I live so Ill probably have to order some stuff online, so im looking for ideas from growers that have experience with aspirating LC into syringes :typing:

the higher number Ga the smaller the bore/diameter. 10 Ga is wider than 18 Ga.

I find 18 Ga to get all cloggy and are harder to work with. Typically 16 Ga would be the smallest I would use for anything free flowing.

14 is that sweet spot. 12 if you are working fast with volume and repetitively, like with 60 mL syringes.

You can get some in that size sometimes from tractor supply stores

I got a bunch of these I picked up on ebay years ago, idk how wide they are but probably way below 12-14G the only thing is they are not sharp/pointed but I guess I could try introducing them to a pair of stainless steele scizzors (or however the hell you spell that, im on the compute) imma give it a go and experiment and report back

Normaly the color base of the needle should give you the size. Check with google if it matches yours.

I asked googles AI for the "dark green" needle but it keeps referring me to " ISO standards for standard hypodermic injection needles" and says the're 21G but obviously this is not a 21 nor a medical needle lol

id say its at least 2.5 - 3mm wide

Those look like the ones I used for these lids. You can just hook the syringe on and suck it right up. They're way off to the side so the stir bar fits. I keep them plugged with a syringe filter when not in use. Works a treat, recommend.

I used 90mm but I went with vented. I used to use the tri section ones but eventually just went to singles. I found the sections too small to work with for transfers and ended up just using them as inoculation plates. But I also had switched to LC as my primary expansion medium and just stopped needing them altogether.
